Hey guys. Looking at upgrading from an old department store mountain bike to something more dedicated to gravel.
I was looking at the [Trek Checkpoint SL 5](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/road-bikes/gravel-bikes/checkpoint/checkpoint-sl/checkpoint-sl-5/p/35169/) which is on sale at a local bike shop for $2800, but recently stumbled across a used 2019 [Cannondale SuperX Force 1 SE](https://99spokes.com/bikes/cannondale/2019/superx-force-1-se) for $2400. It seems like a great deal (i think?) but also says it for cyclocross which I don’t know much about.
I’m in the US on crushed limestone and paved paths at about a 70/30 split, not sure if that matters. Would love to hear what you guys think.
