I’ve ridden my bike across the USA four times, down both the east and west coasts, and the famous Great Divide route. In this video, I help you decided which cross country route is best for you. In short, they’re all great. Have fun out there!

The ride I would like to do is the "Midwest Loop". The Lewis and Clark trail out of St Louis, this includes the Katy. Follow this to the starting point of RAGBRAI. Then east across Iowa with many friends. Pick up the Great Rivers Trail to complete the loop.
Wow !!! Cross Country in the UK is not quite as far 😊
Deep dive into American culture..😂 that shouldn’t take long.
Good to see you rode RAGBRAI. I rode IV and V. Great memories.
Yeah, but what if you want to bike acroas the country on gravel bike and mininize pavement miles as much as possible?
i've wanted to bike west to seattle from NYC, then south to LA, then east to Miami, and then north to NYC for over a decade. maybe one day i'll be able to do this.
That scooby costume is wildly impractical. Not sure why all riders dress like that.
Thanks for this tips!😃
doing it in the 3 gear cruiser is seriously so inspiring, very cool
Did I see the town square of Iola, KS in your video? It might have been the square of Clinton, MO.
I've also been cross country 4 times – north, middle and twice across the south. I've also done both coasts twice and a trans Canada tour. I have to say I liked Canada best. If you stay well north of the U.S. border, the primitive camping is awesome and there is MUCH less traffic. At 73, I'm now mostly an off road rider due to safety concerns and have done the Great Divide mtn bike route and the Baja Divide.
Thanks a lot for all the tips !!
I'm not from the USA and only go there when I absolutely have to. I would certainly not cycle across that country. I'd be frightened of being shot, or otherwise murdered.
How do you end up meeting people on the trial? like host family’s and such
I'm autistic. I am wondering, can you ride e-bike on the bicycle route?
Thank you very very much🏆💪
in today's world you better bring a lot of bodyguards
Inspiring ❤
Another good route is to ride the trans am to Missoula then take the Lewis and Clark trail to Astoria. That’s what we did in 2012 when I cross the US. I really could live on bike tour.
Ryan! My gosh! Fold your hands or something! 🙂
