Hey – looking to obtain a wall mounted rack for my check point but I’d read somewhere (or thought I read) that you can’t hang a carbon bike? W/ carbon wheels? Other bike in need to hang is a trek 8.4 DS aluminum frame. That one I have no concerns. Pic of mount I’m thinking of getting. Pick of check point

These mounts are fine with carbon frames.
I personally went with the steady back to avoid having to physically hook the carbon wheels in.
Hooks are fine. It won’t hurt anything. But I find them annoying and fiddly. They get caught on the spikes.
I can strongly recommend the Velocirax Tilt and Pivot. I love mine.

I have stone walls and exposed beam ceilings, so I didn’t want to drill anything, so I ended up getting the Topeak Dual Touch for… I think about €130, and have 2 carbon bikes on it. I wanted something that kept them out of the way as much as possible, so I set it up in a corner behind a door

Not my pic, but you get the idea. It has these angle and height adjustable cradle things, so I can pull the wheels off while the bike is hanging there
I have had my carbon Emonda with carbon wheels wall mounted like that for the last few years and it has been fine, just make sure that the hook has thick rubber or other protection for the front wheel. I’ve been really happy the [CyclingDeal swivel mounts](https://www.amazon.com/CyclingDeal-CD-SJ02-1/dp/B08RYL31JK/ref=sr_1_102?crid=1X07U4WRFK8HL&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.oThZiLNUkwgsimcO1bVgFe1hlqc8RMLthNAebRJO0DkexYAGZmTK-sfw_2kwDVXh6a2889DdzV1iAt6ggCPDIfvIquUXRxFuklmhVjoW5p4.gXirnxRuI02r3U6tTPdmJe3yZZVoiriTL5Wz7MvriSc&dib_tag=se&keywords=bike+wall+mount+swivel&qid=1766594207&sprefix=bike+wall+mount+swivel%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-102&xpid=VTqx6rm8tOvXW) for both road and mountain bikes, they have held up really well and are inexpensive.
