Bikepacking in Montenegro turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. Most of the time, we were completely on our own, riding quiet mountain roads with almost no cars and views that kept getting better around every corner.
Even with a few more flat tires along the way, this became one of our favorite places to cycle in Europe so far.
The route we took is published on my Strava account. If you’re looking for proper gravel tracks and mountain passes, I highly recommend checking out Bikepacking.com they have routes that are mostly off the beaten track and will challenge you even more.
