December Madness!

Hello and welcome to our YouTube channel!

It is December Madness as we have a lot of miles to cover in our Campervan as we visit family and friends at opposite ends of the UK.

Join us as we travel from our home in Scotland to our first stop in Wiltshire where we stay at the Longleat Safari Park CAMC site where we get a shock on arrival!

We then travel onto the south coast around Christchurch and Bournemouth where we stay off grid at Highcliffe before travelling through the Cotswolds and onto Stratford-upon-Avon.

We then head home for a few days to put up our Christmas Tree and lights, before heading north to Inverness where we found a great overnight spot in Daviot woods.

The following week we then catch a ferry to Northern Ireland where we visit Derry/ Londonderry and stay overnight in a free Aire, before visiting Belfast and the Christmas Markets.

We are David & Ami, a Scottish couple who have been travelling and exploring together for many years enjoying all kinds of travel, from hotels, to camping, caravanning, car camping and now a Campervan.

Our Campervan journey began in 2016 when we purchased a second hand delivery van, a Citroen Relay 2.2 H2 L3. We converted the van on the driveway at home, although self-builds are always work in progress…

We love Scotland and the outdoors, and our Campervan takes us to all of the places where we can enjoy hillwalking, skiing, paddle boarding, cycling and spending time. Our Campervan is fully equipped for off grid living all year round, although we do also stay in campsites. We have busy lives, and van life is our escape for the odd night, weekend or longer break whenever possible.
