This video is sponsored by Rinos bike. Matthew is back! And he’s giving you all the details on the Rinos Sandman 6. Plus we’re giving you €100 off any complete “Rinos” bike (excluding frames or components) with the discount code BIKERADAR100 on the www.rinosbike.com website. Offer ends on the 22nd June 2026.
Rinos is a direct-to-consumer bike brand based in Germany and the Sandman 6 is positioned as a versatile, do-it-all option.
It’s for riders seeking strong performance, durability, and value. With prices ranging from £1,499 to £2,999 depending on the drivetrain.
All versions share the same full carbon Toray T800 frame and fork, generous 50mm tyre clearance, extensive mounting points, modern geometry, and clean integration features such as internal routing and a one-piece carbon cockpit.
The Sandman 6 build highlighted here uses Shimano GRX 11-speed components, hydraulic disc brakes, and 40mm gravel tyres, resulting in a claimed weight of around 9.8kg.
Overall, the Sandman 6 is aimed at riders who want an accessible entry into high-performance carbon gravel riding, whether for commuting, bikepacking, light off-road use, or mixed-surface adventures.

How would you spec your dream gravel bike? 👇
Are we independent bike reviews or are we paid advertising?
"Gravel" is a made up, marketing gimmick that the industry has fallen for. Watch for "Grass" bikes soon.
I was considering a gravel bike, but since my rides are not planned and I just go out for a random ride involving many kind of terrains, I am opting for gravel tires (aka low rolling resistance) for my hardtail mtb.
Have you tried buying a bike from Germany ,whilst living here in the UK ?????
Love that Matthew is back
More paid advertising slop – I get channels need to survive but they destroy their credibility just as quickly with these adverts.
It's a new brand? they have Canyon, Cube, and smaller companies already…
Looks fine, 9.8 kg for a carbon frame it must be solid! price is fine for GRX I guess.
Crap! Won't sell in North America….just like Bombtrack
