The snow has arrived in Andorra, so we made the relatively easy road-trip down to Calpe, it’s just as easy to drive as it is to fly, plus Sadie got a little old holiday in as well.

Just back from there myself.. much needed break from the British winter.. got to see most of the teams on my rides from Benidorm into Calpe which was a nice surprise.. caught Pogi leading out the UAE team, Soudal, FDJ, Astana, Lidl Trek and the EF women's team .. no other sport like cycling where you can ride amongst the pros .. like you say in your video.. very busy and a cafe con leche for just €2… not very many wave back either! Probably 30% success rate
I get way too angry when i dont get a nod or wave. Especially when its an oldboy. They should know better 😂

We nickname our Dacshund "Chocolate" for obvious reasons even though not her name.
Enjoyed that. Look forward to the next and the fitting vid too, Behind every good man is a good woman, would be good to introduce Mrs S's cycling background and support for a future vid before season kicks off proper!
Heading out to Calpe start of january to hopefully to escape some of the UK winter. Only ever seems like its the pros and fast boys that wave back, maybe thats the secret to speed not my aero bra and overshoes 😂
I'm looking forward to seeing the new EF kit, and who the manufacturer is, though I must admit, my ass gets chaffed from even looking at a set of bibs that aren't Rapha 🙁

Was in Calpe only last week – saw some EF guys there – don't know if one of them was you but I always try to wave 😁 Good luck in 26 though.

A nice feel good atmosphere. Ellie in the big support role. Want to see: the bike fit (do you always do them); how the combined eating and training goes along and some training ride. many videos ago, you were going through the new UCI regulations, part of which touched on helmets. And you mentioned that you wanted to get an interview with a POC person lined up to ask about helmet safety/design, this, that and the other. Were you ever able to get something setup?
The wave died with rim brakes. If it does happen, mostly younger guys dressed in pro kit whereas the old timers DGAF anymore
