Did a 2 day bike packing trip to hogenakkal waterfalls in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
It is a 130 km (one way) trip involving a lot of rolling terain.
The final descent is almost 10-15 kms where the river cauvery (kaveri/cavery) takes a leap amongst jagged rocks
The down side
Tourism has spoilt the place and it has become filthy.
My alfine hub refused to engage in the return journey after a tough climb from hogenakkal to pennagaram and had to hitch hike multiple buses to come back to bangalore.
