Green lights of the race. Fuk getting a great start for France. Straight down the center. Benfeld Ingavan the hider. Fukun led out. I think she can take a lot away from early on here. There was just a few too many early mistakes for the for the French champion. >> Yeah, she led out really really well. She was really strong. She was taking good lines, but she did pay for that effort. And uh she made a few more mistakes towards the end of the first lap whereas Brand was already at the front of the race and she was already driving the pace. >> Anique Vanalfo did everything that she could here to stay with Lucinda Brand. >> You look at the way she’s running up here. That is a full gas effort and we never see her do that. But then we this was the moment where Fau took uh took Alvarado way back in the race because as soon as you get stopped by a rider in in sand, you either had to jump off and run around them, but their bikes were right next to each other and and the gap just went away at this point. And this is where we saw Sakaso had to exit the race again. You can clearly see she’s having breathing problems. And this is not a race where you can have breathing problems. Your lungs are so so tested in these conditions. Yeah, we wish Sarah Casola well. Hopefully she can recover for weeks to come. This was the moment that Shiran Vanroy got on and an Vanal comes through to the front. Just managed to slow it down a touch. Lucind knew that she probably didn’t want to take Sharon Vanroy with her being a former winner >> and a teammate as well. You know, she knows what she’s capable of. She’s done a lot of training with her. She’s probably learned many things from her for sand riding and so she was not going to have a allow her to get back and recover at all. But Shiran really tried. She went super fast on this lap to try and get back onto that group as this get on to Bran sorry as this group was forming behind with Peter and Alvarado and they’d separated themselves from everyone else. But Vanalfen really you can see just there as soon as your front tire gets the edge of that rut then there’s nothing you can do. and it just fired her out and that allowed these riders to come back to her. >> And it is sometimes it’s just that accumulative fatigue, isn’t it, that just throws your eye out and those little errors just creep in. >> Yeah. And at this point, Ingab Highland’s actually looking like she’s on the back. She’s getting close to the back of those front two, but it was not to be in this situation. And this group of Brand was just riding her own race, really, really strong, powering through every section, making the same lines every time, making the same choices every time. And these three were the ones that were having this little tussle um as they went around the race. And one was better at one section and another was better at a different section. And it looked at this point like Balfform was going to come out worst in the group. She was going to come out in maybe fifth spot by that point. >> But Peter went through the bell in third position with a small advantage over Sailor Alvarado and Anik Vanalfa. You can see they’re just stretching out her back as she went through the finish line. >> But Alvarado was able to close that gap. She went right onto the back of Peterson. And if it wasn’t for her slowing her down a bit, I think she would have gone over her at this point. But unfortunately, her wheel fell out of the rut. She wasn’t able to. And Vanalfen is able to jump back on and come around Alvarado. And so now Peter is the one that’s be thinking, okay, well, she’s leading the race. But something happened in this little section. and she made a mistake or something and the other two were able to come around. >> Eighth win in a row, 11th win of the season. 80 career victories now for Lucinda Brand and from third in Tela to second today in Cocksider. That’s another podium for Sharon Vanroy. And then the sprint between Salen Alvarado and Annie Vanala who had nothing left to give in that sprint when Salem Alvarado. >> Yeah, super happy. It was uh one of my goals of this season. So I’m really happy that uh I could win the race here. >> Why was this so such an important goal for you? >> Because it’s a iconic race. I really love the races where it’s just the the circumstances of the of the underground that make the race and uh yeah, this is one of them. It’s uh like how we say on the road race is a monument. So yeah, it’s great if you are on the list of uh winners there. >> Let’s have a look at the top 10 for today. It looks like this. Lucinder Brown takes the win 36 seconds ahead of Shiran Vanroy Salen Alvarado in third with Manal from Peter Vanderhide of Betsma Bentfeld Zmanova and Fuk our top 10 that all Dutch riders in the top eight. Manon Baka just outside the top 10 and 11. Celia Jerei there in 13th position. Another great ride by the young Belgian Flur Moors to move up there from that eight row start. Our World Cup now looks like this. Linda Brown with 200 points. Anik Vanford still second with 168. Looney Benfeld with 117. Shiran Vanroy now moves up and Sen Alvarado. I mean it was Dutch dominance today, wasn’t it? >> Yeah, definitely. on Lucinda.

90 career wins. Chapeau, Lucinda!
Alvarado looks like she might be starting to get back into it . A few more no issue races on standard grass and mud courses and she might start getting dangerous again.
Sand anyone!
"Highlights" what a misnomer, it's becoming so incredibly boring I feel for the poor organisers.
Oof, not a single Belgian in the top 10. 🤨
That will not go down well in the media. 😒
