Circumnavigating Iceland’s Ring Road with bikes and skis: Over 1,000 miles and 35 days.

At the unlikely intersection of bikepacking and freeride skiing, “A Hundred Words for Wind” follows Cody Cirillo and Matthew Tufts on a dream adventure— a human-powered cycle and ski trip around Iceland. Amidst blizzards, ice-covered roads, and gale-force winds, the duo searches for fleeting
windows to climb and ski 800m couloirs and untouched faces.

Join Cody and Matt on the unfolding of a wild idea and discover what happens when you experience a place, as raw and unforgiving as Iceland, at the pace of a bike.

  1. What a treat. I can't imagine how it must've been to ride through that weather, I've only driven through snow in Iceland and it was rough. Powered by tortellini!
