On the main product page of the rack, it states that the 1.25" receiver is NOT compatible with 3 or 4 bikes, and only allows you to select the 2 bike option. However, does anyone know if it's essentially the same rack as the 2" version? My gut tells me the 2" is obviously a stronger spine all the way through the rack. however, I'm wondering if I can still extend it to 3 or 4 bikes, since the bikes I'm carrying are feather weights (18-25lb bikes)
