At the Nuremberg Trials, Hermann Göring, Hitler’s second-in-command, challenged the court itself, claiming it was “victor’s justice.” His bold defense remains one of the most controversial moments in postwar history.

The Nuremberg trial is nothing but victor’s justice. This is a show to destroy Germany. >> That’s what Herman Guring declared at the Nuremberg trials in 1945. As Hitler’s second in command, he stood out among the accused. Guring didn’t just defend himself. He challenged the court. He argued that the Allies, while judging Germany, had themselves committed crimes by bombing cities and killing civilians. He insisted the court was a tool of the victors designed to punish Germany, not deliver impartial justice. He repeatedly pointed out that actions under his command were not considered crimes at the time, questioning the legitimacy of the tribunal. When the verdict came, he was sentenced to hang. But Guring chose his own end, swallowing poison the night before his execution. In his mind, it was one last victory to die on his own terms, not at the hands of his conquerors.

Nivea cream should use " my life-my rules" as it's catchphrase
Georing did NOT swallow poison. He bit a cyanide capsule or vial and it killed him instantly
Why tf we posting about these guys like they are hero’s yall kids nazis now?
Ja unter anderem, aber die Alliirten wollten in erster Linie ihren Völkermord an Deutschland, ihre blutigen Hände damit wieder sauber waschen, denn mehr war es auch nicht als ein reiner Mord.
When you put it like that he had a point. Absolutely evil to the core but his points were valid about the allies. But interestingly where do you draw the line. Were the allies killing innocent civilians for the greater good? Similarity in many conflicts. Including the war with Hamas.
No sympathy
Crónicas de sentencias ya anunciadas!!!!…..da igual lo q digas o hagas!!!!

What do the German people think about it?
Makes one wonder how he got that poison to kill himself.
Göring was right in that defense, however that’s not an exoneration of his own crimes against humanity.
I saw Nuremberg with Crowe yesterday. It was a very powerful film.
I did an out of cinema reaction to the film and doing a full review of it today.
Hier wird gelöscht.
There was no justice, most of the germans who took part in the war should have received the death penalty.
he wasn't wrong though…. stallin killed over 10 millions people just to rise his powers…. UK killed over 6 million people in the continent of india….they tortured people like they're the creature of those poor people…they looted almost everything from the continent… and finally, they forcibly taken away 3 million indians and sent them to war….
and this s*it country cried for justice for humanity in ww2😂😂😂…
Total rubbish..Goring escaped Nuremberg and fled to Wolverhampton where he became a children's entertainer called Uncle Fritz..such was his popularity he was given the freedom of Dudley
Did Russel Crowe have to gain weight to play Goering?
And the Yanks detonated atomic bombs 💣 on Najasaki and Hiroshima. Never tried for this.
He was a morphine JUNKY. He got what the losers get. Happens with every war that has a decisive victor. It will ALWAYS happen and when you do what that vampire did, him getting a trial is lucky.
Aveva ragione sulla faziosità del tribunale che era del tutto illegittimo.
Dresden
The Nazis very much remind me of the Trump administration in their skillful manipulation of uneducated idiots
To be honest I do not care about this man God gave him existence and a life and look what he did with it
This person is responsible for murder, genocide, and destruction of many countries including Germany.
Do not try to make a hero out of him.
sounds to me like he was exactly correct, just saying
Prussian war mindset and German arrogance lasted too long…
He was a narcissist.
Mean, was he wrong? That’s exactly what it was. A vengeance court.
the Americans should be punished first for the killing of native american peoples!
