I KNOW this is a big box store bike and most experts probably don't even consider the Ozark trail a gravel bike BUT — I bought one as a rainy day beater and to ride some trails throughout NY. The gravel bike profile is almost perfect for city riding. Not bulky like a mountain bike, road bike profile, more resilient tires. Love it so far and put it through it's paces this snow day. Still love my SS/Fixie but for years I had only taken it out when roads were dry and I feel way more comfortable roughing up the Ozark, largely because of the gravel bike config and YES because it was so cheap. If I wanted to get rid of my fixie/ss or trade out this Ozark for a level up gravel or cyclocross body what would youse pros recommend? Any thing above $1k would be seriously just window shopping. Is that idiotic?
