Hey everyone, just a dude with a mission, to reduce single-use plastic packaging like energy bar wrappers, single-use packets as well as plastic ziploc bags that all end up in landfill.

I literally can't do it without your help and i am sorry for the self-promotion here but I have zero capital to promote this other than in the communities i'm already a part of.

I've been fortunate to be trail running, cycling and bicycle touring here in the UK for my entire life and over the last decade got more and more in to gels and convenience and use plastic ziploc bags to organise a lot of my gear then i'd get home and bin most of the packaging and it just ends up in landfill.

The last year and a half i've been developing a solution to this so that I can take a ziploc bag out with me full of my favourite snacks and also use it for more precise fuelling like you get with gels, powders and chews from nutritional brands.

The difference here is that these are bioplastic ziploc bags that are home-compostable, they create less emissions in their production compared to normal plastic and can be reused and finally put in to the ground and composted rather than in the landfill.

DirtBags are a reusable, compostable and ultralight fuel and gear carry system and i've been using them over and over and over again, taking them home, washing them and drying them and then reusing again.

If you have any questions or thoughts, i'd love to hear.
