State 6061 Black Label V3 ($746 + taxes and shipping) VS Tyrant Beastie ($598 + taxes, free shipping)
I’m 5’5” trying to buy my first NEW fixed gear. Been using a 2018 Fuji club and, although great as a beginner bike, I’ve gotten bit by the bug after riding my friends State Black Label V3. Another friend mentioned the Tyrant Beastie, and made it hard to choose between the two. Very similar in geometry, unless I’m not reading something right
It’s about 85% flat and 95% paved. The hilly areas are mostly hiking trail and some MTB trail that I DONT plan on going on with either of these bikes. Any input on pros and cons is appreciated
