Bought a new set of wheels and swapped the cassette over. The cassette (XG-1275 – I believe) was on sooooooo tight from factory (Crank Bros Synthesis Alloy E-bike wheel set). I needed to put in well over 100nm (my torque wrench topped out) to get it undone. As I undid the black lock ring, one end of this "flat spring" poked out. It seemed to just sit between the black lock ring and the main body of the cassette (pic 2 shows how I put it back). Seemed to work fine, but I now notice I tiny bit of play on my cassette on the new wheel and wonder if I put this in the wrong place. I can't find any reference to this as a separate part in Sram info. Help much appreciated!
