Joe and Brad took on the Struggle Moors this past weekend with Jake, Chris and Little Ricky coming along too. Taking in another ridiculously hilly 100 miles on some of the best roads and some brutal Yorkshire climbs… Is Rosedale Chimney the hardest climb in the UK? Check the video to see how the crew got on in what started as a sunny day but then turned into wind and rain… The gang brought plenty of courage on what was another brutal Struggle event!

the’re bickering about clothing everyone’s been wondering about clothing it’s going to rain later on but look at this it’s absolutely perfect right now it’s in fact I’m too hot so here we are at struggle about to get started the list of pain sticker on here first hair look at this is after one mile one mile and then this one’s got the word chimney in it chimney sounds like just vertical isn’t it don’t like the sound of that solid Ze [Music] that’s house in the front house in the back guys [Music] in SLS are off off you go do [Applause] what oh myself struggle MOS we are a mile into it and we’re about to go up barnesdale which according to my Wahoo is 5K 4.6k at 3 and 1/2% so straight into it one in Ricky saddle slipping Chrissy D’s having a p on the [Music] boys f one done we’re now on the second climb which isn’t actually a climb on the list of climbs that we’re doing and apparently it’s going to take us 15 minutes to get up it still so I Dre to think what’s going to come later on in this if uh this isn’t a categorized clim got me and Jakey by here now just taking it steady away to start with Jake’s doing the is it the jog yeah Len J gr Len Jon GRS later this year so bit of a training ride for him absolute scenes out here very fortunate to live oh wow I ha it when you say let me get into it let me get in this is this road is easy there top Hill and we’re like 20K into it like it check it out Well Ricky loves the [Music] camera I’m from leads which is much closer to the Dales than it is the MS so I do have a bit of a soft spot for the dals but I have to say this Ms rout is absolutely stunning like prophecies I tell you here we are bottom of Blakey Bridge tapping our way up see at the top it’s just going up and up and up again but that’s what we signed up for that’s what York is all about is it I saying you think this is nicer than the DS uh I think so so far a lot more remote you know um we got out in the sticks a lot quicker yeah M which is on the on the sticker here when we pass in all these pubs and he can smell all the onion rings and chips and pizzas so attempting not to pull in what what are we looking for shop shop I need to kind of pop it’s all good having you know you got here it’s the same stuff CBS in drink but he just need need a kind of coke sometimes or lucazade crisps Lucas a Cs and we’re just coming into rosevale Abby to go what I think is the hardest clim I’ve ever done in my life rosale chimney which you can just see ahead right there I’ve been worrying about this road for months really since we found out right rosale chimney done that is is such a hard climb um it’s just so unforgiving like the middle bit of it is horrific but once you once you’ve done that second bit is not too bad how’d you find that Brad it’s the worst thing I’ve ever done but it was all right jeez about you yeah I it’s uh it’s just a really hard climb is it like just feel like you’re going up it for so long and uh in reality it’s only like 7 or8 minutes but yeah it’s horrible once again he’s not dying he’s just resting his eyes is that what you say yeah just you know just uh lower the heart rate lower the lower the body just uh zone out for 2 minutes finished the worst climate I’ve ever done but look at this weather it’s really closing in now the plan is now though just to get off this hill and down under a bridge or a bus stop andever oh [ __ ] so we just got the mother of all soins at the top of rosale Chimney and now we’re at the bottom it’s not even rained burn dry jackets back on it’s like a fashion show here today jackets off jacket’s on it looks wet for the next bit that’s what people say about me visually it looks wet but uh so many burgies on this jersey now from L we are at the bottom of white AR final push now top of there do or three miles back to start loaded fries canza po few be for the boys Happy Days the boys well we made it back to the start cheers again struggle events we got Jordan’s uh hurt his Achilles so he’s off sick Tom Joy’s working so he’s off sick Tom Joy’s not really working Tom Joy is working no he’s shoting on a lock in Scotland oh he’s on holidayland the end of the struggle Ms that’s a long old day out in the saddle but it was sick that’s the best struggle route I’ve done I think for me about you brutal yeah it was a diff a lot different scenery to the Ms one uh sorry is this the MS this is Ms right it was a lot different scenery to the Dal reverse one we did the other week and the climbs were a bit more brutal in places but still 100 Mil 10,000 ft it’s a big day out for anyone and kudos to anyone that even makes it to the St yeah it gets round and gets it done that was sick like I said it hurts a bit that the I like the MS route more than the Dales but it is what it is and uh we’ll see at Borderlands No Doubt uhoh
