Hi friends,

I have an old Trek 730 Multitrack that I picked up a little over a year ago. I rode it as it was in 1995 for awhile, but recently, things have finally started to fail, so I've been slowly learning how to replace them. I ride it as a commuter, about 60 miles a week, so the wear/age is starting to show more often.

Recently the chain on the cassette side started skipping/falling out of gear. Pretty much 4th-7th it just randomly decides which one to be. I replaced the chain and it hasn't helped much, so I'm thinking the cassette is due for a replacement.

I've done some research and found someone recommending and HG41 as a replacement cassette for a similar bike. Is there a way to know what exactly will work or a particular spec i should be looking out for? I might want to upgrade to something a little nicer if it isnt too complicated.

I've attached some pics for reference.

Thank you!
