A local thrift store that knows me well informed me that the people taking their scrap metal forgot to take a bicycle with them, and he mentioned I could have it for free. Naturally I was immediately interested, however, he then mentioned I was a (girl's) kids bike, which, naturally, wouldn't really be my thing (or so I thought).
I decided to look around the corner nonetheless, and to my surprise it was actually quite a neat one! The tires need some air and the seat needs to be fastened, other than that it works fine as far as I can tell.
I'll probably end up selling it or giving it away as it's not quite my size to say the least, but I'm just glad to have saved it from getting tossed and scrapped.
I got my hands on three free bicycles within the past two days, this one's certainly the nicest one (frankly the bar isn't all too high).
