Nantes-Breast Canal 13 years later

We spend the whole day following the Nantes-Breast Canal coving 110km. We visit some nice, small villages and huge castles. We have time to put the drone up multiple times so we caught the beauty of France in the warm weather from a birds eye view. We sang whilst listening to a Madagascar song and had an epic time. However the day ended a bit sadder because Hayleigh got conjunctivitis.

Hi, I’m Haley and this is my dad Roy. And we’re going to be cycling from Santandere to Roskoff. We’ll be covering 1,200 km over 11 days. Join us for this challenge cuz there’s going to be many ups and downs. And we’re both going to be challenging our limits on these loaded bikes. We will be supporting each other to conquer many challenging and iconic climbs in the Spanish mountains. We’ll be cycling through the Spanish countryside and along the French coast, picking up our food along the road and uh hopefully camping every night. So, make sure you follow us to see whether we can conquer this adventure. Day 10. We’re on the Nest Canal where we were 13 years ago and I was like six on the tag along. Now I’m on my own bike. It’s a bit chilly in the shade cuz our clothes are slightly damp, but in the sun it’s nice and warm. We had nice breakfast, some cereal and croissants, two cups of teas, and now it’s 10:00. We’ve got 110 km to go. Woo! [Music] Chasing shadows, fighting boss. I’ve been on my own for a while. I can see I’m doing better. I’ve been broken, but now I’m going on the road. I made it through. It’s like I’m chasing the sun and all my fears on the run. Take my sweet. [Music] It’s like a water. This is my sweet. Oh, there’s another bridge. There’s another bridge. Oh. Oh my. Quick U-turn to to Catalon to get a new microfiber towel towel and some gas. It’s on the other side of the canal. No. [Applause] Look at this. What? Got you on the road. What are you doing? [Music] [Laughter] might ask a three song. Anyone? [Music] It’s like I’m chasing the sun and all my fears are on the run. You take my freom now. You can take my freom. It’s like I’m walking water and waves are even [Music] has just made a cardinal sin. We have done some sweet cycling through Spain and France. So far, no mechanicals. And Haley has just said, “I’m surprised you haven’t had any punches yet.” Why would you say that? Nice. Hopefully our good luck and preparation continues and uh we don’t need any of the spares that we brought which was total waste of time using them and taking them over the mountains. But you know prior preparation prevents poor performance and we are having a good performance. Woo! Ah, nearly crashed. Then we are on the ru deont looking for lunch. [Music] [Music] Hey. [Music] Wow, Zerg. [Music] My eyes are really sore. Oh, quite conjunctivitis. Dad went to the shop pharmacy on the bike and he managed to get some saline solution stuff to clean my eye. He’s very kind. Hopefully, it gets better. [Music] That was good quick skills, wasn’t it? to go to the pharmacy. [Music]
