I think it’s a good time to play this Preston side at the moment. Not necessarily performing ever so well, but Heckin Bottom said that himself. He’s not too bothered about the statistics you’re going to see. It’s about that result and making the most of the these moments. You can see that in their recruitment. They’ve brought in these players. You look at the loans that they’ve they’ve brought in in Lewis Dobbin, obviously Armstrong, Alfie Divine probably being the headline in that. They’re really talented players who can take these moments and take those opportunities. As away we go. and Preston immediately launch it long looking for Smith. That battle between him and Scar. Well, Scar got the touch. Throw into Preston. Level the edge of the area as Hyam has to track the run down the right hand side of Dobin. He spins as great play. Gets past Hyam drills in the goal mouth and Smith can’t quite make contact. And you don’t see high beaten like that very often, but that was spectacular. Yeah, you absolutely don’t. That’s the first warning of what Lewis Dobbing can do. a player playing with such confidence as well at the moment. He’s in fine form. The space of Lewis to break into and now it’s helped on by Thomasson. McClean with a little give and go. Thomas over the edge of the area pops it back to man. McClean onto his right foot delivers under the bar. Nasty ball in. Keall scores. Rexom take an early lead. What a rightfooted cross that was by Mlean. It was vicious. You got to look at the Preston defenders and ask why nobody could cut her out. But goodness me, what a delivery that was by McClean and Rex are ahead. I think it’s huge. He looks like he’s got keeper Moore. He’s got that movement. He’s lively in that box. Just follows that ball. Just spins his man really. He just finds himself completely open at that back post for the easiest goal of his career. Yeah, he’s about an inch out, isn’t he? But who cares? They all count. Well, Lindsay’s ducked under it. It looks like he’s just looks like he’s going to head it clear. Can’t keep the dobin rather. Can’t keep the ball. Good challenge in midfield, but then a poor ball by Dobson and Dobbin has no support, but he’s surging through the heart of Rexom’s defense. Haim comes across. He hits the shot. Brilliant block by Dobson. He tracked him so well after his initial error. Dobson and Dobbin puts it back in. Cliff heads it partly away and it’s cleared towards the edge area. Broadhead did well to make a challenge and Grace loose ball. Brilliant touch by Moore. Racks him on the break. Now Moore wants the through ball. Oh, Sheep tries to play it. Massive interception by Hughes. End to end stuff. It’s absolutely thrilling. Wowee. Here comes again as Divine has got small outside. He gets to the edge of the area. He really cut in and tried the shots. He does. Good save for Conquo. He drilled it. Conquo sees it late. Just tips it around the post. How long he got to talk through that little passage of play. What a brilliant block. Moore misses his opportunity. And then Divine takes the shot and a good save by Arthur low to his left inside for Whitman. He’s got runners going through the middle and he finds Tortois and awkward bounce. Can’t quite take it but it goes to the far post and conquered as well. Just sort of opened up in that middle of the park. Not sure whether it was just because Maxith stepped in. It forced Alexis Scar to step across and there was just a big gap then between Hyum and Mlan which absolutely saw and almost took advantage of. So danger divine steps up, sweeps it into the far post. Good punch of Conquo just knocked it off the head of a Preston player when it’s played back in. Looks offside played in. Conquo half clears it. It stores around and it’s cleared off the line in the end. Well, whether a Concore was fouled in the second time he went for it is a question, but that was dangerous and it was Him I think who got it clear. That’s certainly what he does. Yeah, he really read the danger so well to get back and uncover that. Concord did well with a couple of punches. Maybe the second one not quite so well, but he did get it clear of his goal mouth off the left hand side. Works it in for Dobby who helps it quickly onto the right. Chance for an early cross. Valentine plays it first time. Hyam just gets enough on it. Small hits and great save. Double save. Brilliant from Aonquo to deny Small twice. The first one’s off balance. gets his body behind it and when Small hits the rebound from six yds, he gets down low and puts it away. Dobson ambitious ball down the flank and Small misses his interception. Moves around the back of the fence, right hand side, drills a shot from a tight angle. Spectacular save. Unbelievable double save. McClean thinks it’s gone over the line. Didn’t think so from this angle. And the referee’s watch doesn’t agree. What a let off. for pressed an unbelievable ball back in. More jumps and Everson just gets there and takes it cleanly. What a double save by Everson. That’s remarkable. Lewis lifting it over the top. Moore chasing that. Did it curl out of play? No. Lindsay’s there first. Not the best ball to Small. Dobson was tempted as it rolled slowly to nip in front of Small. Misjudged it, but Small’s pass is poor and she turns nicely. Good ball to Broad. The touch left him down but he picks it up again. Drives forward. He’ll hit this. Will he edge of the area right for the drive just wide keeper lunging full stretch. Couldn’t quite get there. Rexom looking threatening in the second half. Ben Sheath really nice turn. What little body faint just gets away from his man. And then I agree with you. I thought Nathan Broadhead got that first touch wrong but he recovers really well. His body positioning is so good in that those sort of areas. The circle Rex him quite happy. He’s standing on the edge of the area and waiting for the ball to come in which it does and Scar attacks it. Small jewels the shot back end. Hit the balls. Ricochet in the gomouth. Cliff gets it clear. Smith could have got there first. Well, that was a good hit, but it was skipping through the crowd and the conquers couldn’t see it. They seem quite shocks, but it was a like I said, it was a good strike to keep control of it from the restart. She nicely forwards. Thomasson helps run neatly to Broadhead. First time cross by McClean into a great area headed to wide. Oh, that was a lovely ball in by Mlean across the keeper just wide to the far post. We have looked threatening in the second half. Yeah, the pass from Broadhead is perfect for MLAN cuz he just knows that he can take it first time. Fed forwards pressed on the corner to Rexom box. The ball laid off by a fire cross comes in headers go save again. Whiteman dug out a great cross. Powerful header from 15 yds out. A Concore again full stretch two-handed palm around the post. Brilliant save. He’s got a runner ahead of him. Pulls it back in stairs and Whiteman hooks it across to the far post. Ricochets around. Drilled in Preston equalize and it’s Armstrong and Rex will be frustrated to concede like that. Just didn’t quite deal with the ball into the far post and Armstrong from a tight angle drilled it through a crowd. Again, a conquo can’t do anything about that. Arms getting a second bite of the cherry after ricocheted back to him. Not how Rexom wanted to to concede having defended so stubbornly. No, not at all. I think they’ll be really frustrated. It’s just that direct long ball over the top asking the question of Ryan Longman the substitute jumps well but just can’t get anything on it. One last attack. Ball knocked over the top but is going to get there first. Oh, he mishandles it. And that is the final whistle. Press the north end one Rexom one. And Rexom’s unbeaten run, the longest unbeaten run in the division continues. We took an early lead through Kefir Moore after McClean’s vicious ball in wasn’t dealt with well by the Preston defense. And then after that it was just end to end. Arthur Conor making save after save after save. But Rexom looking threatening at the other end. We got into the last 10 minutes holding that lead, but we couldn’t cling on to
