From the start, Yorus Steven house got a great start. So did Neil Vanderputter. You saw Michael Vanour out in the white and red colors there moving up that hurt. But Nevin House tactically you would say today Norris Nean House just threw it down early on here. But we had such a big pack for a lot of the race. It was It looked like he really wanted to whittle things down early on, force that pace, and he certainly did that. forcing away a group fairly early. We saw that splits after the first lap and then it was only when the pace slowed that things all came back together and it was that group of kind of 13 14 riders in the early laps. Michael Van we can see here that was the crash there by Philippo Agostio taking down Victor Vander. Both riders doing really well to to get back in to this one. But we can see here early on how much Vanour out rode this from from the front. As you said, come the end. He he literally rode the sprint out of everybody. Very canny from him today. Went to the front. Not always forcing the pace on the front. Him and New House were the only ones to really kind of do anything on the front of this race. She felt like Newan House was always trying to force things whereas Michael Van turn out really tried to control things from the front and he did an excellent job of grabbing recovery when he wanted it and applying pressure when he wanted to. So rode a brilliant race. Ron Har there at the halfway point through his hat in the ring but didn’t quite have the legs to really split things today. Tactically I think we saw a different Pim Ronha today. I think sadly we we were denied what the end might have been given given that puncture, but it but it was good to see the way he the way he rode this one. This sand section though today for Michael Van Tour now he just absolutely I think there was one squirly moment but but pretty pretty perfect um from him today and also in that front group as well. You we didn’t see a there was no bike change from him. He finished on the bike he started with. Yep. one bite race and we saw kind of in that last 101 15 minutes everyone wanted to be second third position in the group. No one really wanted to be leading the race. They all wanted that really really good position for the final lap and we saw some very strongly fought moments between riders. Yeah, it was getting spicy out there today. And as we came into that on that final lap, it did come down to a battle from the podium from these three. And as Ian Field said, uh, leading out the best, um, tactic. And that’s exactly what Michael Vanau wanted to do. It was it’s this power. Look at the the seated moves as well that Michael Vanour is throwing in here to Swake and and and Nean House. And this was again little bit of a sledgehammer pass there coming into that one for Nean House. But Vantor just fought straight back on the next on on the next section. He did. He kind of caught them by surprise at this point. It looked like new and house and shuake had kind of played it really really nicely had remained in the wheel of Michael Vanout to this point but Vanout fought back so hard gained good position there new house wanted to lead out as well you felt as though Schw wanted to be in the wheel for the final sprint and then it was after this point don’t get to see it there that Michael Vanau took the lead gained a small gap after that key sand section yeah it was a a truly difficult week so uh Yeah, it’s it’s good. It’s good to be back. Uh yeah, for fighting for the win. So uh yeah, I’m happy. It took you to the final lap, the final part of the final lap actually, just on the asphalt part. Yeah, I feel I was a little bit better on the the sand sections. So it was uh it was difficult to to fight for the positions. And in last lap uh I gave everything uh from the the finish until the until until the next lap for the finish. And uh yeah, I feel very strong. So uh it’s good to be back uh for to fighting for the win. It is. Let’s have a look at our top 10. Michael Vanout takes the UCR Cyclacross World Cup here in Terba ahead of yours. Steven House loud on Sweet rounds out our podium. Best World Cup finish for Ryan Camp. Neils Vanderput. Victor Vanderput turn the boss Philip Augustanakio. Best World Cup finish. Yeah, he’s so good on Nam, isn’t he? It really, really is. There you have it.

  1. @tntsportscycling no actual footage of Vanthourenhout race-winning attack in these "highlights" and you also put him in the head shot of the video (spoiler)? 🤷
