In this episode, Patrick and Jenny spend another day bicycle touring along the Via Rhona, Eurovelo 17 from Sablons to Valence, a total of 33 miles or 53 kilometers. They stop for a picnic lunch in Tournon sur Rhone surrounded by vineyards. They spend a beautiful day cycle touring across many different kinds of bridges until they reach Valence. In Valence, they stay at the Hotel de France and stroll through the medieval winding streets of the old town (Vieux Valence). That evening they have dinner at a kebab shop, Pacha.

It made us so excited to get on our bikes to see more of this beautiful country. But first, we had breakfast waiting downstairs. We had spent a night in the upstairs room of this house. We are having a little breakfast in the house. Orange juice, coffee, and I think she rode her bike to get a baguette this morning with some jam and butter. Very traditional. After our breakfast, we packed up our piurs, got back on our bikes, and headed out for a beautiful ride on the Varona. Hello. Music. Our hotel was well situated in the heart of Valance. We went out exploring and to eventually find dinner. This modern piece of artwork gave me a double take. Okay, Patrick, what’s this building in front of us called? This is called the Meison Deet or the House of Heads. It’s from 1530 it was built and it’s now owned by the town of Val Valance and that’s a museum inside but it’s closed right now. Okay. So, it’s kind of a gothic. It’s a flamboyant Gothic house. Um, and you can see there’s a lot going on. It’s pretty cool. That evening we had dinner at Patcha, a kebab shop. Patrick was so intrigued with how they were making the kebabs that he filmed it. message. We are in a kebab restaurant. We got kebabs. It’s good, right, Patrick? I think we had to have a kebab. Yeah.
