Catch Hartside fell on a clear sunny day and you’re into for a stunning scenic treat.

You can enjoy the views to your right with the fields of sheep and cows.

Or, you can look to your left and look over the beautiful Eden Valley. And further across you have the stunning, towering mountains of the Lake District.

Look north and you can see across the boarder into Scotland.

And with the gradient not been too tough, any cyclist could enjoy this climb and get up it at their own speed.

This climb is part of Simon Warren’s ‘100 greatest cycling climbs’ in the UK.
