Started hearing a creaking sound from my bike a couple of weeks ago, but on initial inspection couldn’t find anything obvious causing it.
Ended up taking it to my local bike mechanic, who after having it for around 15/20 minutes, hailed me back into the store and proceeded to warn me my frame could potentially be cracked, stop riding it and to contact the manufacturer.
The bike is back with the manufacturer, however currently they are claiming nothing is wrong with the frame, but they have kept the bike for further ‘investigation’.
Photos attached of the crack, along with another of there on the frame, it’s directly on top/behind the bottom bracket, which coincidentally is where it feels the creaking is coming from.
Any opinion would be greatly appreciated
