Hi everybody. So it is riding day six of our Pyrenees tour. The Pyrenees tour with my girls Jade and Georgie. Now today we start in Oleron S Marie. Oleron S Marie. I think that’s how you say it. That’s where we are right now. So we are going to head today to Beirit which is on the coast where I’ve been before for wheels and waves. And then once we’ve had a lovely morning hopefully in Beirit, we’re going to take a coastal road which looks really really twisty on the maps and head towards Santander which is where our next hotel is just a little bit south of Santandere. So yeah, that’s what we’re hopefully going to do today and just bask in the twisties and bask in the Basque town of Beirit. Wait, see what I did there? So guys and girls, last night was actually pretty traumatic. When the Airbnb guy or not Airbnb, but when the guy who owns the apartment was like, “Is everything okay?” We’re like, “Perfeio.” When really at night it was like Satan’s furnace. It was like the devil’s furnace. It was just so freaking hot that we all ended up piling into the double bed with the air con turned pointing at us. But then we were all too cold. But then we didn’t want to wake anyone up. So we just dealt with the coldness. So we went from extreme heats that night and it was pretty brutal. But it was a nice place to chill in the evening, do card games, relax vibe. So yeah, it it was really good. We had a nice little walk into town and we got some disgusting hippie kombucha iced tea that didn’t even taste like tea or it had like it tasted like cinnamon or something. It was weird. Yeah, it wasn’t the best, that’s for sure. But yeah, now we’re on the way to Beeritz because I was that enamored by the town when I went with Honda and I thought we’re like a bit of a 2hour detour, which actually that does seem like quite a lot when you look back. Um, but hopefully it’ll be worth it. I just hope the weather brightens up because what is this overcastness? I can get this in the UK and this bloody temperature. Anyway, let’s hope for some sunshine and weather improvements. Oh yes. [Music] Did he hit the pier? What is wrong with people? [Music] Wow. It is literally every man, woman, dog, cat for themselves. [Music] It’s quite a difficult jumping girl. Oh yeah, there’s a lot of that in the race. There’s a lot of them on motorcycles as well. Oh no, not the bendy bus. Let’s get out of this way. Right. I guess let’s find some nice color. [Music] [Music] Okay, so I’m a little bit sweaty and worse for wear, but we have arrived at Barley Bowls here so we can get some vegan food for Jade. is fully vegan, so me and Georgie will be partaking, but Google Maps had us running around Beirit. So, we are sweaty messes and we desperately need some food in our guts right now. So, that is exactly what we’re going to do. [Music] I’m scared, but I’m tired. Why? Spicy. You’re scared of sausage. [Music] Well, guys, I believe we’ve just crossed the border into Spain from France, but we’re in Spain now. So, we’re heading to Spain for ice cream. It’s just how we roll. It’s nice that they’ve they set a realistic speed limit for this at like 70. Like that’s quite a nice a nice pace. [Music] Oh, lovely. This is This is so nice. Just feeling the breeze. We made it. We freaking made it. I didn’t think we were going to time. I didn’t think we were going to do 10 p.m. Oh my gosh. What is this? Oh, it’s been a long Oh, we got crayons. Amazing crayons. Can’t wait. They think we’re children. I was worried then. I was worried for a second that we didn’t have cream. All my sponges. It’s a little comb. A comb. Cute. What this is? It’s like a What’s that? Knives and forks. Oh, it’s a toothbrush. Too face. Excellent for hygiene. Knives and forks. Wonderful. Love that for us. So, let’s get this bed with this. We got triple bed. Perfect. Triple bed. Jade, what’s happened? No, there’s even a dead animal next door. What’s that? Um, I opened I opened my PA and it was a rainfall of my glutenfree pasta. It went in all the crevices so I couldn’t close it. So, I had to scoop the bits out. I’ve not been sick. I promise. I’m fuming. It cost€5. Bloody hell. I had a little accident. Nightmare. And then there’s a little dead animal. And the cat came along and was looking for it. He’s a little dead animal. Yeah. And the cat killed it. And the cat came along. Katy cat. No. That little backdrop. Gather around. Gather around. Children, gather around. I think we all look a bit worse. For wear. So, we have done a long schley schle today, haven’t we? Yes. How long, Jade? Hold on. I can turn. Hold on. Hold up. You’re going to have to pause this out. Hold up. Now my hands are wet, so it’s not working. Hold up. 240. Let’s just say 240 miles. 240 miles. But how long in hours? We set up at half 10 this morning and it is now half 10. 12 hours. 12 hours. 223 miles. Amazing. According to Beine, we had a nightmare in Beirit trying to park that added like 20 minutes. So, we had a nightmare trying to find food on Google Maps walking that probably added about 20 minutes. Then we needed to translate the menu. Then we ordered the food. You know when the time just goes and then we had well I won’t drop you in it Georgia, but we had some guttal issues myself included. So, it’s been quite stressful trying to navigate that situation. Lovely. Um, so yeah, here we are. We made it. We’re just glad to be here. We’re just so glad to be here and alive. And we’re going to get some chips now and eat something and then go to bed. So, yeah. I hope you’ve enjoyed this day and definitely keep watching for tomorrow. Bye.
