How I Store and Keep Meal Prep Fresh 🍗🍚🍝

Showing you all how I store meals in the fridge and freezer to maximize flavor and freshness!

1.) whatever I plan to eat within the next 3-4 days goes straight into the fridge
2.) the rest of the meals go into the freezer, where they can last up to 6 months
3.) pick a meal from the fridge and reheat it in the microwave; I keep the lid on and slightly off-center to allow the meal to steam
4.) transfer a meal from the freezer to the fridge and place it in the back of the line; this gives it 1-2 days to defrost before reheating
5.) as I cook fresh meals for dinners throughout the week, I turn leftovers into extra meal prep
6.) I add these extra meals into the freezer and fridge to create even more of a variety
7.) I try to meal prep 2-3 different meals a week in addition to cooking 2-3 fresh homemade dinners a week; this gives us at least 4-6 different meals to choose from
8.) repeat the cycle and enjoy!

  1. I can’t imagine how much radiation your body is fighting. It’s a great idea but maybe prepping an uncooked meal, freezing it to make cooking easier and faster would be safe for me

  2. ALL MICROBIAL GROWTH COMES TO A STOP IN FREEZER IF THE FOOD IS ABOUT TO SPOIL IN 5 HOURS THEN QUICKLY PUT IT IN THE FREEZER, AND WHEN U TAKE IT OUT AFTER WEEKS OR DAYS IT WOULD STILL BE IN A STATE WHERE IT SPOILS IN 3 -4 HOURS SO.. FREEZER IS TOTALLY SAFE

  3. Please, Please, Please get yourself some glass containers!!! You are not suppose to heat plastic in the microwave!!! You are actually eating plastic and toxic chemicals every time you do this.

  4. 6 months sound too long and unsafe, unless you are using preservatives in your food. If anybody is meal prepping, I would definitely double check the safe storage food guidelines before you wait six months to eat frozen food.

  5. I do the same thing BUT I leave the lid off and vacuum seal them for the freezer (they stack better and last longer without getting freezer burn). Then I plop them onto a plate to heat. (Heating plastic = no bueno)

  6. My comment is so off topic🤭…I love the idea, but I focused on the Lumpia Wrappers!! 😂😂😂😂I LOVE lumpia! Anyhoo, great idea for preventing food from going bad.

  7. Please transfer them to a plate or glass container to heat them in the microwave. Pthalates and toxins from plastics are a real damage to our health.

  8. I don’t meal prep no more. U almost force yourself to eat. I try to fast more. And not into eating so much. No more than 3 days of food for me. And eat fresh
