They are Service-trained volunteers who often first on scene at a variety of life-threatening emergencies, caring for patients before being backed up by regular crews.

hi I’m Ian and I’m one of over a 100 volunteer emergency responders with London ambulance I’ve been an emergency responder for over 10 years and today I’m on shift with Mike on the mil Hill car most of the time we arrive first on scene to a variety of life-threatening emergencies before being backed up by regular Crews so being an emergency responder and the things we see and do is dramatically different from the day job but extremely rewarding as as volunteer emergency responders we certainly make a difference and we do save lives
