  1. Rich people don't have yard sales to make money, or even to get rid of stuff. They're rich, yard sale money is meaningless to them and a trip to goodwill is way easier. They do it for the love of the game.

  2. As someone who wants to start flipping, trying to learn from a master(lol)… What would you say are go items and woah items as far as how urgent it would resale?

  3. Rich people that are needing to have a yard sale 😂. Some people just don’t want to put the energy into figuring out total value. Who knows how much he had to go through.

  4. I bought a big mystery box of thomas trains at goodwill for like 15$. Ended up being 5 complete sets. Only had to buy 1 $6 piece and easily made close to 350

  5. im not rich but I throw shit in garbage can when I dont want it anymore … the couple $$$ made selling it is totally not worth dealing with the idiots

  6. When I'm setting stuff out for a yard sale I'm pricing it to move and I don't expect to get top dollar for it. It's more about getting rid of excess stuff that we no longer need than it is about making a profit. If a reseller buys an item to flip for a profit – more power to them.

  7. Doesn't have to be a rich neighborhood! I do a yard sale twice a year with all the overflow from thrifting & storage units and I price everything for a buck just for the fun of the sale!

  8. I make enough money to afford new stuff but the only people I know who buy new are very poor. It’s like they don’t realize second hand stores exist. My sister in law doesn’t have much money and insists her 1 year old needs $42 shoes, I spent $12 once on new shoes for my daughter who’s 3 because she needed them and I almost had a heart attack. I found the $42 pair of Nikes my sister in law wanted for $3 brand new at a second hand store, she was upset that they were “second hand” but literally in the box.

  9. When I lived in a not-so-rich neighborhood, people gave out really useful items that someone could actually use. After I moved to a rich neighborhood, I noticed people mostly put out garbage or try to sell things for even $2.
