Hey guys, welcome back to the video. So, in today’s video, uh, I’m going to be cycling both in Bournemouth and in London. Um, just to show you sort of talk to you about the difference of like what’s what it’s like cycling there and in here. Uh, cuz there is a huge difference, guys. I’m telling you, it is quite mad. But yeah, let’s get this video started. I’ll be doing two different routes um in Bournemouth. Um the first day will be just by myself cuz Daf’s at work. Second day will be with Daffany and it’s a bit of a shorter one. And I’m also going to show you the Christmas market uh in Bournemouth. And on the last day, I’ll just be cycling around London with my friends. But yeah, see you in day one. Peace out. [Music] So yeah, I’m away now. The road did not dry up as much as I wanted to have, but I’ve just left anyway. It’s around 10:00 in the morning and I’ve made a quick uh 60k route. Well, on the 60k route to a new place going to check out a new This coffee shop I found is actually a bike coffee shop. So, it should be nice to see. [Music] One thing I’ve noticed ever since I’ve started cycling here in Bournemouth is that the drivers are so nice. Seriously, compared to London, I don’t feel as stressed. [Music] So, yeah, as I was saying, yeah, the drivers here are just a lot more patient. Like, they don’t really overtake you. Maybe they kind of just wait back until it’s like really really clear. And when they do overtake you, they give you so much space. So much nicer when compared to like cyclist drivers like near London. My bike is so filthy. I think it’s time for me to invest in some mud guards. [Music] So I’m doing this climb. It’s not a hard climb in general, but because I did legs at the gym a day ago, it is hard. Never do legs before a bike day at least two days before. Don’t do it. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] One of the best sounds here in uh in the New Forest. That was so much fun. [Music] So, I’m about 16k into this route and I saw this cool place called Dawson’s Engineering. Look at some old old school cars. Pretty cool. Pretty cool, actually. And look, there’s the forest there. So, I should be about 15k away from the coffee shop. [Music] [Applause] Holy crap. Oh, there’s so much to see here, guys. [Music] How can you not love the New Forest? It’s so nice here. [Music] So, I’m about 20k to the route. This bit is so nice. Never been to this bit before. It is stunning. [Music] I’m literally just going so slow at the moment cuz I’m just admiring the views. I can’t believe it. So, right now I’m doing about 18k an hour cuz uh I’m just admiring the views. I mean, look at that. Like, it’s so nice here. Oh god, I don’t know what to say. [Music] Don’t know if you can see that. Well, the horses the horses are out. So, I’m near the coffee shop and then this road kind of has like a massive puddle. Yeah, I’m not going through that. Well, my bike’s already there. I should have actually. Oh well. Need the coffee shop anyway. So, I’ve left the coffee shop now. It’s quite nice in there. Um, it’s actually a bike shop as well, but the bike shop was closed, so couldn’t go in and see what they have, but yeah, there was a coffee shop outside, which was quite nice. Uh, and what I’ve noticed as well, a lot of places here, even pubs. Uh, they seem to have a lot of bike racks out, so I think they like kind of know like a lot of cyclists go here, so it’s quite nice. But yeah, heading back home now. It is cold. More horses. More horses out. Um, also it’s going to it’s basically a headwind all the way back home and I’ve got about another 30k. This is going to suck. Oh, look. Horse in front of me. All right, I need to go slow. Oh, that was scary. All right, guys. That is it for day one of basically going around Bournemouth. My bike is filthy. Got to clean it now. It’s going to be um cuz it’s winter now. I think there’s going to be a lot of that going on. But yeah, guys, see you tomorrow. Peace. Mia. Hi, Mia. Okay. Oh. All right, guys. So, today we have a short 40 just under 40 km route. Uh, just a short one today because later on we’re going to go to the Christmas market. Uh, Daffy’s just behind me. So, should be a good route. It’s we’re going towards a a place called the Bley Village. I think it is also very windy today. It’s so nice that it’s really sunny today. The roads are dry, not like last time. I had to clean my bike after, which was such a pain in the cold. [Music] Last time that was a road that was full of mud and it just made my bike so filthy. in the headwind today. Oh my god. It might be dry, but god, this wind is crazy. [Music] You okay? [Music] We’re about to approach the nice descent, but I think cuz of the headwind, it’s not going to feel like a descent. [Applause] That’s cute. You okay? That’s cute. Thank you so much. That’s so cool. That’s pretty cool. What? So in front of me there’s just a horse minding his own business. That is joke. That is quite funny. All right. So, we’re now at the end point of our route. Um 16k in now. Going to start making our way back from here. Uh cuz we do have to go to the Christmas market. Uh we plan to get there for around 2:00. So, yeah. See you at the My hands are frozen. See you at the Christmas market. Peace. Thanks, Tom, for the idea. Hello Ramona. I can’t shake the simplest feeling beyond the ghost. We stand on the opposite shore. Hello. Hog was good with the pork scratching. [Music] Where we going? I don’t know where we’re going next. [Music] For all in this I stand alone. Show me where the ending goes. Honest. Honestly, don’t. I should be the last to know. We’re all in this. I stand alone. Show me where the end. So, back in London now and drivers here are insane. They’re so impatient. I don’t understand why. They’re literally overtaking me just to stop in front of a traffic light. Just don’t make sense. But yeah, on my way to Mobile Lodge to meet the guys. So, I got Eugene with us. Bro, the traffic is mad today. So crazy. It’s like, “Stop go, stop going.” There was like three ambulances going. Got to love London. How’s the traffic? Crazy, man. [Music] [Applause] So, we’re in Reg’s Park. We’re going to do some laps here and wait for AJ cuz he’s going to join us. And then after probably going to go to a coffee shop, but the traffic on the way here was mad. There was one time where like just now I was going straight. It was a green light for me and then a guy on the ebike just crossed when it was a red red light for him. And then Eugene and uh Paulo nearly got uh basically knocked out by a lady who just opened the door without looking and nearly knocked Eugene out. It was mad. London. It’s crazy. London’s mad. London’s quite busy today. I think it’s just cuz of Christmas time. Nah, it’s like the day before Black Friday as well. Oh, the day before. Yeah, that explains why it’s so busy here today. [Applause] So, we’ve done a couple laps, maybe three laps over regions in a circle and one lap over the outer and I’m bored. Don’t know how like for you guys who can keep doing this, I’m very impressed cuz uh I get bored very easily. But yeah, we’re going to go to Waterloo now, but just cuz uh there’s something wrong with my cleat. Uh one of the bolts got threaded and we ordered the part to see if we can sort of change the plate so I don’t have to buy a new shoe. So out of regions of Richmond, which do you prefer? Richmond. Richmond. Yeah. Yeah. Same. Like it is nice here if you’re close, but I think it’s cuz me and Eugene also live like an hour and a half away from here. So it is a bit of a trick to get here. But like I can see why a lot of people come here. It is quite nice honestly. Like it I just get bored really easily. So after a couple laps I’m like let’s go cafe [Music] man. [Music] But you know what? At 9:00 a.m. it’s not as busy as it is. 9 a.m. Yeah. It’s just now there’s going to be traffic. Yeah. So, never cycle in the city at this time. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] No, no. So, what we’re doing is my cleat the one of the bolts got threaded. So, we J got a part. So, we’re going to see if it fits. Hopefully, it will. Yeah. Eugene’s curious. Go on, D. Show us. Show us your magic. There’s a rabbit in here. Yeah. Go on. I’m expecting the color to change. So, we’re going to see cuz this is the one that came from the shoe. We’re going to see if we can replace it with this one. All right. Moment of truth. Moment of truth. I mean, it should be the same size, right? It’s That is fine. That is what I’m not worried about. It’s the the interaction. Oh, okay. So, it seems to fit. Okay. Can you move it around? Yeah. Can we move it around and stuff? It should be possible. It’s not other things going on. Oh, well, we’re not sure. Oh, so it might not cuz it’ll be fine. It should. So, it will do the job. It’s just that we couldn’t find this piece cuz for some reason there was none of it. So, we found an alternative. Yeah. No, it’s fine. Yeah. And it seemed to work. I thought there was a central. There’s just one. No, it’s good. Perfect. Cool. So, it works. It works. So, Eugene, now you know you don’t have to buy a new shoe. You can just get the replacement part. Replacement. And if you’re not sure, you go to B and ask this guy, Giles. [Music] All right, guys. So, yeah, that is it for today’s video. Um, let me just put my coffee down. So, yeah, I actually enjoy cycling both in Bournemouth and from London if I go to places. I mean, the thing about London is that the sceneries are very nice, like the buildings, stuff like that. I do love cycling in this city, but when there’s too much traffic, too much people around, uh, it is a bit crazy. Like especially now like when I went out with Paulo and Eugene there was just so many people opening the doors without looking. And I think it’s because it’s Black Friday weekend so there’s a lot more people shopping and things like that. But when it is empty like if you cycle on a Sunday morning is one of the best places to cycle around and you know cuz I live in London a lot of places that I go to start from London. So if I go to East so I live in West London. So if I go to East is a bit annoying having to go through London just cuz of the traffic. It basically doubles my time to get to the starting point. Um like Regent is only 15 miles away from me but it could take me an hour and a half to get there because of the traffic. It’s and I don’t jump red lights and you know just for safety I wouldn’t do it cuz you know respect for the drivers as well. But in Bournemouth for example drivers are actually a lot more nicer. um they don’t overtake you like when they overtake you um they go quite far out and sometimes like I get so stressed out that they’re so nice because like like you know they they’ll be behind me and I’m like oh crap they have have to go a bit faster because you know um I’m slowing them down a little bit or something like that and then I tell them to go through and I give them way but they don’t want to go through. So yeah, it’s just so much more nicer. I mean, the cycling scene there is a lot different to London, of course, cuz it’s not as busy, but I like cycling both places. I mean, I’ll be back and forth between London and Bournemouth quite a lot now. So, yeah, guys. Um, that is it for today. Christmas is coming up soon, so you know, and it’s winter. It’s so hard to vlog and do videos during winter time cuz I’m wearing gloves and stuff like that. So, I might not be doing as much videos this coming month in December cuz obviously Christmas time is here as well. But nonetheless, um, hope you enjoy that video and, um, I’ll see you guys in the next one. Peace.

  1. I feel Bournmouth would be mayhem in the summer, all the tourist and new drivers wanting to race on the country roads, love seeing new forest and wild horse. 100% right on how angry a lot of London drivers are.

  2. Great Video yet again Avo . Yes great run through the new forest …..London for cycling looks boring and stressful so I am glad I don’t ever have to go 😂😂

  3. The best Xmas market in the Bournemouth direction fromLondon is Winchester. Defo worth a check on your way past if you're traveling up the M3. I'd also highly recommend a gravel bike for riding through the forest. There's SO much more to explore when you get off the roads
