    It’s been a long time since Lead United last walked out for a home game here at Ellen Road. In the time since, the team has dropped into the bottom three after yesterday’s Premier League results. But a positive result here against Aston Villa will see the team climb back out again. The team news, there’s one change to the side that started the last fixture. Pascal Stout comes in. Yakabiel is on the bench. Aronson in from this near side into the edge of the area. Goes down. And that’s a free kick. Leads just outside the penalty area. Brendan Aronson with a little change of pace there. In it comes from Long Staff. Nice shape on that one. Goes to the far post up in the air. Martinez comes and it’s gone in. Surely it’s in the back of the net. And then the whistle goes or Meta is celebrating. But what is happening here? Well, they’re checking for an offside. Not not a foul. And Meta follows it up and the goal is given. The offside call was against Goodmanson. The offside call was rejected. Lead United are in front. Curls the ball into the middle. Heads up and down. Comes to the edge to Arensson. Shoots forwards and Martinez got down really smartly there. And now Fuller down the right side with Cash. Cash on the by line. Comes back in for the substitute for a low cross. And it goes in off the near post. And it’s an important and early intervention from Maron. Villa are level 1-1 through the ball. Goodmanson slipped. Stra. Oh, he can’t quite get there. Free kick against Stra. Rogers hits it in. Oh, he’s drifted it straight down the middle and it’s into the back of the net and the goalkeeper didn’t move and Aston Villa are in front here at Ellen Road. They come forward. James into the penalty area. Puts it in. James has scored for Lead United. Dan James gets in behind the line and tucks it in from close range. White nine clearly touches the ball with his hand and is the goal scorer. Therefore, the goal is disallowed. Long staff curls it into middle. Stroke. Oh, great save from Martinez. Pascal Stout got up above everybody there from Martinez. The whistle to the lips and there it is. The game is over. Lead United took the lead in the first half. Villa equalized right at the start of the second and then it was a free kick. But all that matters ultimately is that leads have slipped to another defeat here at Ellen Road. As the full-time score line reads, Lead United one, Aston Villa two.

      Basically until January 17th we will be lucky to get 3 points, we have the most horrible run of fixtures to come, Palace on great form so they will probably beat us at home and then we have Sunderland and Brentford away for a possible draw/win, the way we are going I think we get thrashed in all other games City/Liverpoolx2/Man U/Chelsea/Newcastle, no point even changing the manager now as a new manager would just look bad anyways with the Xmas run we have coming. To go from 1-0 up at home and lose to Villa is not how we stay in the prem, if Elland road is not a fortress we are done and this game proves it’s not.

      the commentator is so shit, so emotionless. the quality of the prem commentators, pundits, and referees are weirdly one of the worst in the world, which is so stupid for one of the most popular leagues in the world.

      We have to except clubs like ours cant compete at this level. So many Leeds fans live off the 60s and 70s it was a different time when small clubs like ours could compete against the big boys. Its not Farke's fault the money he has to spend its men against boys, dont press the panic button and use him as a scape goat and go and bring big Sam back. Enjoy this season no matter how many times we get hammered we know we will be back in the Championship next season.

      49 ers. You saw what happened in our last season in the prem when the ownership delayed sacking Jesse marsh. We can still salvage this season if we have a more tactically adept and flexible manager.😊

      Don't worry about it lads can guarantee you now this is just a glitch in the matrix every club goes through a bad stage and we're almost out of ours, boys the goals are gonna start coming soon and we'll be flying high champions league we're on our way MOT

      We need more balance to the team. More left footers in the starting 11 and this 4-3-3 isn't working Farke. 4-2-3-1 is a better formation for us but Farke keeps with 4-3-3 which hasn't worked. Can we attract a world class manager though?

      Why are they leaving out players like Pillow, Tanaka, Nyonto, and Dan James when last season's squad was good enough to compete against Premier League teams? What is Falke afraid of? If the squad that won the second division doesn't work, they should bring in new players. Are they not even rewarding the squad that won the championship after over 40 tough games?
