It’s going to be a fascinating return to the race course and this double header with the game at home against Blackburn who are resurgent at the moment be a real test as Rexom. The game kicks off with the ball straight back to VTEC and VTEC and his all lilac kit launches a long one. Reese can’t win it. It’s popped back in there by Randall and for the second time heads it clear. It’s a confident first touch deep in his own half by Thomasson under pressure and good refereeing again. Broadhead was clipped played a little bit of an advantage and when it didn’t occur gives the free kick now’s making a run is looking for him with an early free kick. That’s a good ball. McClean now only more in the middle. Broadhead is lurking and marked on the edge looking for spaces. Pulled inside. Thomasson to Broadhead hits a curler. Oh, and Morel pulled that one. He said, “Get one of those curlers going.” That was magnificent by Nathan Broadhead. And in case he didn’t realize, that was a goal. Well, that was just really quick thinking by Dom on this side. I know he’s a right footer playing on this left hand side, but he curls it into the channel where McCann’s running into him. Just sets it for Thomasson. Thomasson into the back foot of Broadhead. And I spoke about that touch being just out of his feet enough. What it does is it sets his shoulders pointed towards the corner flag and it enables him to wrap his foot around it into that far corner. That is one hell of a finish. Well, we’ve been waiting for this boy to explode and he’s just absolutely done it there. Cop end. How do you like him? Nathan Broadhead saying, “Do you lose something?” Josh Windas coming out. We know he has done that in a Rexom shirt. All sorts of finishes on the edge of the area just dropping in deep. It’s great strike. Rexom again then just worked hard off the ball as Thomasson loses out. And now here’s playing a good ball in. Memedi looks offside. Flaps it down. One with a good wo and he blazes it over. That would have been controversial if it had gone in. But a conquo he’s good at one ones. He came out. He didn’t go down. Made himself big and here and memedi and trying to drill it in over him. Yeah. shockingly doesn’t find the finish the the man in form but I think Danscar it’s really tight think Danscar might just be playing him on it’s a really nice ball conqueror with a long goal kick more jumps and wins it well in the air doson onto it first time to broad he’s got runners ahead of him and he finds Bobson one and he puts it wide well wide really now on his left foot keeper came out made himself big and Dobson tried to be cute and mud to the keeper’s put it a yard wide, but lovely movement again by Rexom. Well, Edwin’s stuff here at the Kaias. It’s broadhead again. It just rolls agonizingly wide of the post. Great run. Corner then right hand side. Mmedi just starting to get into the game a bit. That’s a good ball then. It’s flicked across the face. Dicki got up there just ball swept back in. Clu with a truthful first contact. Sykes trying to bring it down. McClean gets in his way and in the end the ball finds its way to Mmedi in the corner of the box. Drills a shot. A Conquo blocks and grabs it bravely. Surely he’s fouled. No. Well, that’s No, he’s given has given the foul. And although Bristol says he furious, I mean Kongo stayed down and surely that there was that looked like a good right decision to me. made an important block from the shot and then was followed through into for me. Yeah, well it it takes a nick the initial shot, doesn’t it? So a conquo not expecting it where it lands and I think it’s Rea, isn’t it? Just closing in as a striker as you have to do. You want to get on the end of any spillages from the goalkeeper. Just can’t see how close enough he is. I think he looks like he must catch him. And if Conco has it in both hands, then obviously that is unlawful. Gobson’s making a run. It’s fed nicely to Moore. Now Moore driving at the last defender. Dobson into boards. More on his left foot. Drills it. Oh, just wide. So similar to his hatchetic goal against Cardiff. Almost the same piece of grass he was on just outside the post this time though. Just the way he burst through. It’s a really nice quick free kick from Rexom. George Doson’s bursting of gut to get up with him. But Keer Mo, you just fancy him to go on his own, don’t you? All the way. He just drags it wide. Making a nucus himself. Creates a loose ball. There’s a chance now to be fed in McCroy. Edge of the area on his left foot, pulls it well wide. Well, he’s predominantly right footed. Why didn’t he hit it early on his right? Instead, he’s pulled onto his left and then pulled it across the face and well wide. Well, it’s an opportunity if it’s going to fall to anybody. You want them on their weaker foot if you possible. Longman does well cuz he stays inside on his right, makes him go out onto his left and he just pulls it again. I think Keles was a bit closer. Snappy passing can just bypass the press as a nice little dribble inside and give him going to a crunching tackle and a good early ball. Mo now up against the last defender. Cuts inside into the box. Can he make the angle? Drills a shot. Good save by Vtech. Oh, wind. That’s their first keeper saves it and it just drops wide. The wind that’s in front of an open goal. Take a bow, young man. Because the first save’s good, but the second save’s even better to recover. He gives the go ahead. Everyone back defending for Bristol City. The ball swept under the ball. It’s in. It’s gone straight in. Oh my goodness. Well, that is quite a way to double your lead. Left footed in swinger and well mean Vek looks so frustrated, but you can’t do anything about those. It goes in off the far post. Thomasson is always he’s drilled in. What a way to get your first goal for the club. Tell you what, it’s a great finish. I think we saw one of them that end not long ago here, didn’t we, as well? Was it last season? Struggling to remember though. Um I mean Elliot Lee there did that burden, didn’t he? Well, you can see the setup from Rexom. They all pin the keeper in, pin everybody in on line, and then you’re looking to just peel out the back for a back post header, but Thomasson has absolutely whipped it. He’s had a bit of bite about his game, hasn’t he? Matty Jameson’s coming on one. Love to see his his stats in terms of his jewels won because I feel like he’s won everything he’s he’s gone into in this second half. And high up the pitch sometimes as well causing brilliantly problems pring as well. Shot from the edge the D flies over the Conquo got his fingers on that. I think it may have been deflected as well but a Conquo quick to high to his left to get his hand on it. Great work by the keeper. Referee gives the go ahead. Corner swept in. Just a touch into the goal mouth. Good header clear by Sam Smith and Rexom clear that and well we’ve had the five minutes and there is the final whistle and an excellent victory for Rexom. The final score Rexom two Bristol City nil. Tremendous performance by Rexom against a high quality Rexom uh Bristol City side who have arrived here looking to get back into the playoffs. They dropped out yesterday after the Tuesday round of fixtures, but they were denied by a Rexom team that really, really played the fixture mouth.

  1. Up the town!!! Great win, 3 valuable points. Great to see Broadhead getting amongst it. We are looking rock solid defensively after a shaky start. Arthur is looking a lot more comfortable

  2. Das man international werden möchte, versteht man. Warum lasst ihr eine Computerstimme den originalen Kommentator nachsprechen? Das hat mit Emotionen und Fußball nichts zu tun.

  3. We are in the top 10 now for the first time this season, and also our highest placing in the Championship/1st division ever! Mighty impressive, well done lads!

If we keep our current momentum, the sky is the limit. So chuffed for the lads, staff and the town of Wrexham. Much love from the east coast of South Africa 🍻🍻

  4. When have Wrexhams Kick-off tactic ever worked? Why give up the first possession every game? I have watched every game since Rob and Ryan took over. Yes I'm a casual. But I can only remember a handful of times that this have worked slightly in Wexhams favor. It's not like you are going to catch the defenders off guard on the first possession. I know the long ball is a very British style of playing. I'm just wondering why? When it maybe works 1/20 times.

  5. We ve grew up against coventry but in this we have finaly come of age and now must be considered amongst the top sides in this division who knows we might even catch coventry up and be sitting in second place by christmas we are now looking like a very hard team to beat now where are all those moaners who wanted our managers sacked cmon speak up i cant hear you we have in every league on our journey been slow starters but once we get going we become an unstopable force cmon you reds liverpool man cit arsenal next season maybe we can even do a liester city who knows

  6. Rode our luck at times, but created enough to have won comfortably. The second goal was so important giving us some breathing space , thought broadhead was excellent , finding gaps, acute passes and a wonderful goal on top.

  7. I'm welsh but i feel like the odd one out here! 🙂 So happy to see Wrexham doing so well, you have no idea!. Amazing to have all the support from across the world! Diolch yn fawr!

  8. Only started watching since the first season debuted on Hulu, but kudos to the directors for selling me this story because I would’ve missed out on a remarkable ride.

Seeing them claw their path from the depths of British football to truly standing amongst one of the world’s premier leagues—it’s compelling and I’ve watched more football in the last 4 years than the rest of my life combined lol.
