There are construction works near my house and I ran on a nail on the way back home.
The nail was a bad boy, was 3cm/1in into the tire. I remove the tire and saw the rim tape damage, then remove the rim tape, then proceeded with gauging the damage: the nail punctured the rim.
Do carbon repair pros even look at working on rims?
(so a post similar to this 1 from 6 years ago, coming to check if the practices and technologies have evolved)
