Stewards of the timeless liturgy, today is Friday, October 31st, 2025. Today we observe the vigil of all saints of the third class commemorating St. Quentyn Martyr, born in the mid3rd century AD in Rome as the son of a senator named Zeno. He journeyed to Gaul as a zealous missionary preaching in Amy where he converted multitudes and wrought miracles including healings that provoked accusations of sorcery from pagan authorities. Imprisoned by the prefect Richavarus under Emperor Maxmian, he suffered gruesome tortures such as iron wires pierced through his veins, stakes driven into his nails, and scorching oil and pitch forced into his mouth. Yet he remained steadfast in confessing Christ. He was beheaded around 287 AD. At Augusta Veramandu, now named St. Quantan in his honor, venerated as a saint from the early church without formal canonization due to his heroic witness and wonders. The mass is offered in violet vestments. And today’s vigil invites prayers for the intercession of all saints, for spiritual preparation through penance, and for the triumph of the faithful over worldly trials. And we pray and meditate on the sorrowful mysteries of the Holy Rosary. Today is a day of fasting with meat permitted at the principal meal. from the 1962 missile. Today’s readings are Apocalypse 5 6 to12. The gospel reading is Luke 6 17 to 23. The Holy Father, Pope Leo I 14th, has emphasized family pilgrimages to sacred sites as a means to gain Jubilee indulgences. Thank you for watching. Share your prayers below. Remember, Christ is king. Remain resolute and may God bless you
