Hey guys, I’m new to cycling, I now commute about 6 mi to and from work now (so 12 total) but I’m using a million gear Walmart MTB (just using what I had). I hate gear maintenance, want to feel fine if I get robbed, and love a push in my legs, so I’m looking to join the single speed life.
Some info: I’m 5’6”. I’ll eventually put a rear rack on the bike and fenders, and my commute is entirely roads and flat. This will be my everything daily bike. My budget is $150 on FB Marketplace. I don’t know much about brands, parts, etc., but I don’t mind a fixer upper. Are any of these good?
