#warsaw #poland has everything it needs to become a truly amazing city – it’s not too big, it’s international, has a lot of parks, fascinating and extremely diverse architecture, good public transit including subway, and plenty of third places.
It also has a lot of space we devoted to cars that could be used differently. Most major roads criss-crossing downtown Warsaw lack any bike infrastructure even though drivers enjoy 3-5 lanes each direction.
Unfortunately nothing will change unless @miastostolecznewarszawa gets rid people like Warsaw Road Department director who is afraid to bike in #copenhagen and prefers #cycling in Warsaw.
#Change is possible, but in Poland it takes a looooong time.
