I’ve always heard that the first generation Syncro shifters were terrible, but I like the way they look so I decided to install them on my Cinelli SC that I’m building up with a mix of Super Record and C-Record.
And I’m shocked how badly these things shift. Is it the combination of a more modern C-record derailleur with an older Regina extra freewheel that is causing the problems?
Any advice on getting these to work? I have a lot of other freewheels that I’m planning to try before giving up …
