1985 Tour of Poland – Old Irish Cycling Pictures

Hi Peter, I was the Irish Team masseur on the Tour of Poland that year. That was me (Damien Lyle-Stirling) in the grey Nike T-shirt and blue shorts at 2:50 in the video. I recently found a couple of copies of the stage books. One is signed by you and all the lads on the team including poor Raphael Kimmage. Funnily enough, I was telling someone the other day about that that stage where we parked on a grass verge at a feed zone. You hopped out of the car and vanished into a deep ditch? Great to see the photos 40 years on. That was one tough race.
