I’m looking for recommendations for non-aero brake levers for a retro-inspired bike. Pic for attention 🙂

Key points:

  • Priority is comfort (especially on long rides) and good braking performance.
  • Must be non-aero (cables exiting on top).
  • I’m open to modern production parts (e.g. Dia-Compe Gran Compe 202H etc.).
  • For vintage models, they should be reasonably priced – nothing too collectible or crazy expensive (I am located in Austria, for that matter).

Which models do you find most comfortable in real use, and why? Any pros / cons or comparisons are appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I am also open to "modern" variants, such as the BL-7400.
