Richard Hammond’s Divorce – The Truth Mindy Finally Admitted
They were together for nearly three decades until it all came crashing down. Richard Hammond, the fearless Top Gear star, and his wife Mindy, stunned fans with news of their 28-year marriage ending. The pair met in 1995, fell instantly in love, and built a life together with two daughters, Isabella and Willow. They shared years in their breathtaking Ballet Tree Castle. But behind closed doors, things shifted. In the not very grand tour, Hammond hinted at the truth. We don’t have to marry whoever lives next door, which is my case. Friends say busy schedules pulled them apart. Mindy’s quiet confession was even more telling. We built a life from nothing, and it’s hard to walk away. Now Hammond focuses on his garage, the smallest cog, while Mindy remains at the castle.

All three guys needed a lot more SONS 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I guarantee she ended it
after watching the smallest cog, i was appalled at the entitlement and selfishness of the daughters especially, as well as hammonds 'doormat' attitude.. none of them covered themselves in glory imho
I am not surprised one bit, Hammond was a Prick from the start, she was way way better than this little twat
yawn
congratulations Richard. I envy you mate.
Vodka Charlie, Vodka Charlie…….
Moral of story wife say work hard then when he start working hard then divorce him
My wife and I divorced 6 years ago. Haven't seen or spoken to her since.I've got custody of our children (rare), more money and free time than ever. I have family members who send me screenshots of their arguments over text messages saying the most awful things to each other. Yet, every year around the holidays, they all gather around and try to push me into another marriage.
"He" built a life from nothing, she did f-all.
Gold digger.
He made too much money.
James May looking smarter every day.
I love how everyone here is speaking as if they know them and know what went on – neither of them have spoken publicly about the reasons why. All you can do is speculate and that's frankly ridiculous. The only thing we DO know and HAS been spoken of publicly from both of them is that after his big crash and brain injury they have both said that his personality changed. We don't know exactly what that entails, but obviously that's quite a big thing. The only other thing that we do know if you've watched Richard Hammond's Workshop is that she was quite annoyed and frustrated with him for how much money he was spending on it with no real business plan in place, the costs spiralling etc. and even in the most recent series he's said he's still £500k in the hole with The Smallest Cog and he STILL hasn't got the spending under control to the point that he had to get his Mum to come in and look at the finances and processes, and take his Landlord on as a short term consultant/manager to get things running correctly to try and claw back some of that money and turn a profit, and that's a company he's had for almost 5 years now.
So we can speculate all we want, but none of us know. It might be that she's some kind of awful person in it only for the money, it could be that he cheated, it could be that him sinking millions into The Smallest Cog and pissing money up the wall, half-arsing it and failing to control it correctly pissed her off
She’s getting out before the garage bleeds them dry. He can go down with the ship, she’s getting on the lifeboat!🥸
Izzy 🥰
The sad truth is I remember Hammond saying he was greatful for the grand tour ending because he could spend more time with yes family. Then when he announced their divorce he spoke on it saying it was a big change him being at home all the time not being on tour ect ect. So it turns out the one thing he wanted to do spend more time with family became the down fall.
Never marry gentlemen. Unless it's in a church and a church wedding is extremely important to her. Never involve the state. Ever.
Even if you work hard and have lots of money and kids eventually the wife will just wanna do something else. It's just borrowed time. Unfortunately there are some great husbands and wives but it's a dying thing ! Just don't sign shit because it's all just a ploy and TBH that's pretty dam sad
moral to the story, gold diggers are hiding everywhere!
These things make absolutely no sense to me except for one thing (later). You spend that much time, it would seem you have learned how to make a relationship work. Moreover, at that age, the chances of finding a partner with whom you can build a healthy relation are reduced.
The exception is the chance that, in fact the relationship didn’t work and you were merely suffering through it because you were basing decisions on sunk costs. That, or one or both cheated.
So who cheated on who?
Hammond a total wanker
