On Nov 12, 2025, while heading to a restaurant for delivery I was hit by a car that was going 40 mph before braking and was left with an eyebrow stitch, bruises on my face, a leg scrape, and 2 broken teeth to be fixed.
I'll take the L for not having a helmet (and will wear one/ride when I'm recovered enough), although I had my taillight on. My headlight was dying and this unfortunately happened at night as I started my part-time shift of the week.
I currently have a bike lawyer and another lawyer for my case as I also got a citation :/ .
What would be done if repairing this bike/better to improve this situation?
The last photo was my mountain bike before that fateful day and liked riding at least 10 miles a week.
