Both have Shimano 105, carbon fibre, 8.2kg, but the van rysel has disc brakes while the giant has rim brakes. I cycle mostly flats so I dont really care about brakes, and I focus mainly on speed and race which is what giant's geometry specialises in. But im worried that the rim brake would put me in a disadvantage when upgrading. Which should I choose? Both are at about 2400$
