About 60 riders joined us for the day, enjoying breakfast at MyMoto, followed by a super-sunny “Super-Loop” of Derbyshire created by myself, before heading back to MyMoto for a burger!

well the weather’s out for us my Moto summer haze ride out that’s what we’re calling it breakfast going off here all Gratis from the guys at my Moto and um we’re going to go out for a ride through darbishire doing um what I’m calling a super Loop that I made last night at midnight it’s about 4 Hour hours um 100 mile taking in the best at arire and then we’re going to come back here for about 3:00 where the burger van from the wildad Weekender is going to be waiting for us to feed everyone with burgers and I’ve tried my best not to have any uh bacon and it smells delicious but I can’t have any one me a day see so I want to have a big fat burger when we get back so that I’ll have to do I’ll have to wait here to a bloody good day on the bikes in the sun it’s warmer here now than it was in Spain last week thanks for coming everybody to my Moto’s summer haze that’s a cool name who came up with that name you call Phil Ha thing quite likely and as it’s turned out we’ve got a bloody good day haven’t we weatherwise I were in Spain last week and it were 9° 9° rings on say oh we’re here safe and she said what you get cold time for it’s 9° 24 here anyway so So today we’re going out uh we’re doing a clock anticlockwise Loop of darbishire um we’re going to be on the bikes for about 4 hours 100 miles we’re going to be doing the drop off system me at the front Gaz at the back whoever’s behind me any which point I will ask you to sit on a junction if you’ve never done this before it’s dead easy but you must stay on that Junction to let all the other bikers know that’s the way we’ve gone and stay there until Gaz with the is on at the back pits and flashes to let you rejoin the group if you move everything falls to bits and there’s a lots of people that want to Burger later on and they’ll get lost so just please do stay on that Junction you could be there for 10 minutes I don’t know I don’t know how long the train is going to be when we start riding but please stay on that Junction until you see gas on the GS at the back with the high Vis on you’ll make a point of it so it’ll be piping and flashing so you’ll know um yes stay put that’s the only thing I know I said it about 12 times but you need to stay put or all go run we’re going to be doing a really steady ride like I say about 100 miles has everyone filled up yep you’ve all got 100 miles yeah has everyone got 100 miles yes don’t sit don’t sit at the back going oh I don’t know have you got 100 miles in I’m going to say if you have’t there’s a petol station just up the road if you want to go and dip off when we pull out of here we’re going to going left I will put markers on every Junction so don’t worry um if you can’t see anybody in front of you don’t worry because there will be a biker on a Jun if we’ve gone that way and I think really that’s all we need to say in it what can we not do on a junction don’t move don’t move everything will be perfect if we do that um and just yeah safety’s Paramount so we all want to be back here we all want to go home tonight so we’re all riding safe it’s not that kind of ride it never is that kind of ride with us so just take your time enjoy the scenery we’ve got Sun out so it should be good brilliant let’s go for a ride good morning all we’re just getting ready to go I’m just sorting my AOC out so just fired the bike up turn the ignition on the AOC is turning on then I’m going to put the route up cameras have just started recording my route up open up the roots now I need to look for my Moto it’ll probably be at the bottom actually my Moto summer Hayes route will pop up 3 hours 43 104 miles start that’s that just done the Spanish tour with this aocc and it’s been absolutely perfect Link in description folks if you want one for yourself quite a few here with it on as well actually which is nice to see gaz’s got his on as well he’s got got the uh 6in version I’ll pull out there and I’ll wait Phil I forgot to say mate thanks for doing the stickers oh pleasure have you have you Grand job Jay was saying are all the rides going to have a name now I was like well why not yeah yeah why not oh yeah I was on theide last good idea yeah ready right then we are on the my Moto summer haze ride we’ve got about 60 or 70 Riders I think actually we’re going to be doing the drop off system got about 100 mile Loop that I’m calling the super Loop through darbishire picking up all the best bits all the best bits that I think so there’s going to be some faster roads there’s going to be some slower roads there’s going to be some tiny roads I think it’s going to be a good day [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] well I’m very very grateful for the weather it’s a bit bizarre is it when you think it’s nicer here on just a random Saturday day out on the bikes than it was in Spain on an organized tour last week you got to take the rough with the smooth let’s hope October is a bit better than uh the ones thus far Kerber Edge Kerber Edge baso Edge I think this one’s baso Edge that one’s cber Edge stunning you’re looking forward to Spanish Sun pal well bound there in any I know you’ll be lucky if there is any bought a nice summer jacket for it as well it could be 30° and it could be 10° and you don’t know de you just don’t know it’s a bit bizarre to think it were colder in Spain last week than it is here now get yourself tucked in mate one you go first yeah thank you there’s a car letting everyone out that’s good oh it’s beautiful this is fantastic I’m definitely coming up here more often I’m definitely coming back here up here and exploring a bit more what a stunning day out for a ride [Music] folks even better that these 70 odd of you find people behind me this is what it’s all about getting out together creating something for someone beautiful I kind of don’t want to push on cuz it’s so nice I think we’ll just stay here for a bit oh this is lovely up here what a day for it struck gold with this weather today thank you for coming everybody a lot more turned up than I expected but that’s why we do it that’s what the whole point is what an absolute pleasure just for the record how many times this morning did I say don’t leave your mark at least five maybe 10 yeah gaz’s gaz’s been very busy today mopping up chasing people come back nice place to wait though what stunning place to just it’s beautiful fa oh stunning yeah it’s stunning look great I look behind see the bik saking down us it’s a really nice yeah we could have done this Main Road through which is a really nice Road it’s a 50 but get off pieced this is better yes exactly we’re good Lorry blocking Road bit grally down here you’ll know this area anyway way got everything on the door step we yeah exactly the Dragon’s Back Chrome Mill just watch yourself here everyone don’t put your right foot down yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so far so good stunning arish e have a look at everybody stunning route thank you thank you I bet you knew 98% of it Ain you probably 89 should be back for life back for thanks to everyone for marking and doing your bit thank you yeah grab yourself a cup of tea if you want one we not going too long but uh you want to grab a drink grab one and then back to um my Moto for a burger because I am bloody starving so we’ve just had a break at the old dog in Thorp Thorp Cloud anyway thank you very much to everyone that’s turned out today bloody great ride superb weather picking out the best that darbishire has to offer right I’m in burger mode now no breakfast no nothing and I’m hungry the waft of bacon this morning was like oh torture oh I’ve got me bloody thingy boots on wet through now keep left everybody we’re nearing the end of our 100 mile Loop 100 mile super Loop 10 minutes and we’ll be there Burger time I hope you’ve all had a nice time thank you very much to you all for coming thanks to my Moto for putting on the free breakfast this morning thank
