We wake to sheets of rain and make the tough call: tolls over twisties. Cue trench-foot vibes, language-barrier dinners, and a sketchy walk home in the dark. Sometimes motorcycle touring isn’t glamorous!

🚲 Soaked boots, soaked bikes, soaked souls – but still smiling.

Hi everybody, it’s your name K and welcome to day four, riding day four of our Pyrenees adventure. It’s not gone to plan girls today, has it? This morning so far. Why? The rain. The rain come down. It was chucking it down last night. We had things hanging over the balcony to dry. We had to bring them in. This was dry last night. Yeah, this is completely dry and now it’s full. So, the plan was to head through some twisties and get to Andor, but the rainstorm band just settles over Andor, doesn’t it? So, we’re completely flipping the script. We don’t know how much content we’ll get today because we want to keep our equipment safe. But, if you want to come along with us anyway, we definitely very grateful. So, stick around. Okay. [Music] Goodbye. Adios. It’s clear, baby. Yeah. Yeah. We saw that yesterday, didn’t we? Yeah. We’re all together. We’re coming out. Yay. [Music] Right. So, we are on the road. I am braving it. I’m risking it with the cameras and the microphone because we just don’t know when it’s going to torrential downpour. But, we’ve got a brief moment this morning where it’s just kind of sporadically spitting. Like I said, we are avoiding Andor. And Pandora is not for us today. And we’re just gonna ride around, maybe get some supermarket lunch somewhere, and then head to our hotel. It has been a proper lazy morning. Like we fully intended with good intentions to get up at 7 a.m. and be on the road for 8, but because it was chucking it down and we saw that the rain was kind of gonna subside round about half 10ish, you know, it’s uh we basically got on the road and then we had a whole host of technological issues, strapping issues, you know how it is with the YouTubers and it’s just delayed us and delayed us getting on the road. So, it’s now 11 minutes past 12 and we are only just kind of starting our big ass 4 to 5 hour day. But that’s just how it is sometimes. you can’t, you know, plan for like, well, you can plan for the weather obviously, but it’s just so hot. Like, it’s genuinely boiling that you don’t want to put your waterproof stuff on and layer up because then you just get to So, yeah, we’re just kind of braving it. So, yeah, we’ve decided to head that way cuz if you look straight ahead, there is nice sun, blue clouds, but Andor is unfortunately that way. And if we turn our head to look, it is just gray and awful. So yes, that’s very much influencing the itinerary, the plan, the route of the day. But that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? Adapt and overcome. Right, Jade? We’re doing a cheeky little fuel stop at Petro Cat, aren’t we? And I was really relieved to see this on the map because we’re about to head into the mountains and I didn’t want to roll down. Just push my paddle down the mountain. So I’m on pushing duties, aren’t I? You’re on filling. I’m on pushing. Why is it vibrating like that? Oh, we we’ve got an audience now. The village crew. Stop dancing. No. Oh my gosh. So, we saw these Where were we? Tren. We were in Tren, right? And we saw this what can only be described as a satanic ritual. I think you’re going to have to I’m going to put the footage in now so you guys can see what we had to witness. Vibrating. I think Shake that thing. Shake that thing. Oh, it’ll be me next, won’t it? I know. Where’s our Where’s our uh princess treatment? I’m absolutely raging. Freaking raging. I am like a Formula One pit stop. The slowest F1 pit stop ever. Taking the wheels off. Oh yeah, the buzz gone. Sweet. That’ll ding do for me. You sure? Yeah. Yeah. Why is it Why is it blue? Yeah, it will be for sure. Okay, good. What’s left for the little G Meister? Would you like me to push? I can do the pushy. Oh, this one needs to go on a diet. The bike, not Eugi. Oh, look at this up here. I do need to clap, though. I might slow down dramatically because I’m going to take my hands off the bars a second. We’re good. We’re good. We’re good. Woohoo. Oh, the map looks good. The map looks twisty. We found them, guys. We found them. Not that they’re hard to find in the Pyrenees, are they? No. Although it would definitely be nice to get ahead of this car before the actual twisties hit. Oh, this looks amazing, girls. If you can get in front of the car. Yeah. Yeah. It’s clear. It’s clear. It’s clear. It’s clear. It’s clear for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles. No cars yet. There’s no cars at all coming my way. Is G round? There’s still no cars now. There’s a car, but it’s you’re round. Sweet. I wonder why the throttle was a bit on and off. Let’s put it in B for a more. manageable, relaxed, flowy vibe. Oh yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. Flow it round. Flow it round. It’s just kind of a dark pit, but I don’t think it’s gravel. Yeah, it’s just the rough course road. I’ve just gone over it. You’re safe. Wow. Oh, this will be quite tight. How is it so freaking delicious? I know. Yeah, I thought it was going to be so rainy and miserable. And even if it is, at least we’ve got a nice bit of dry twist and turns. Oh, the Pyrenees are delivering the goods. Oh, yes. Oh, it’s getting cooler. Oh, this is tight. Don’t be deceived. Oh, it’s a forever bend. Yes. Yeah, that was gorgeous. Oh, yes. Delicious. It’s quite tight and cambered. that hair pin. Then coming up to a a mega hair pin tighty whitey. Oh, yeah. It wasn’t It It looked really tight on the on the map, but it wasn’t too bad. Yeah. I mean, this still looks pretty grippy, which is good. Ooh, cheeky. Oh, beautiful. We are in a Francancy. Oh, look at this bear. A bear. Might as well be. He’s a big boy. Wow, look at this place. What a higy. This is very cute. Oh, I do love finding towns like this and just existing in them for a little while. I just nearly kicked you. I need like a fancy kick and I didn’t realize you were right there. My bad. It’s got to taste nicer than hotel water. As in hotel bathroom tap water. Oh, and does it? Let’s have a sample. This stuff I mean water. Holy. I am so moist. I am so moist. The moistness is me. I have become water. I have become my zodiac sign. I am Cancer the crab. Wow. Wow. This is unreal. It’s getting through my knocks now and it’s got to my under. Oh wow. Everything’s soaked through to the car now for me. Oh my god, my boots are completely full. My toes are swimming. [Music] Heat. [Music] Hey, Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] All right. I think we got to go up there. Okay. Let’s go, baby. Oh, guys, I’ve only just managed to get the camera on because it’s been torrential rain. It We’re all soden. We’re soden in crevices we didn’t know we had. But we’ve got a bit of dry weather. Touchwood and now we have some lovely French views on the way to So as you would have seen we had some pretty nice twisties. They were absolutely amazing. Then the heavens opened. Honestly, we got very soaked through very, very quickly. And we kind of decided that the twisties, as fun as they are in the dry, they’re just a little bit sketchy when it’s wet. Like everything’s really slippy. Everything’s really tight and naggery. And at this point, we were absolutely soaked to the core. So, we just kind of figured we jump on a few tolls and just try and bish bash bosch our way to the hotel. And we’re currently 47 minutes away. So, yeah, we’re actually almost there. And we are ready for food cuz we’ve literally only had breakfast this morning and yeah, food to dry our stuff out and hopefully get some card games in because we’re literally like I wanted to say middle-aged women, but I’m kind of a middle-aged woman, right? Oh, no. Sunflower field. Wow. So gorgeous. But try not to end up in a ditch looking at the sunflower skate. That’s not wise. Oh, we are 8 minutes away. Wow, this is so cool. I can literally see the hotel on the map now. We’re that close. Stop it. Well, when we come out of this tunnel, the hotel is there. You can see it. It’s got the blue text. Can you see it? You know you’re at a classy establishment when there’s a Mackis. Oh, we’re nearly here, girls. We’re near here. I love them. Be it pandas, but proper old ones. I love the old old ones. Yeah, that’s a tunnel we just come through. What the hell? Yeah, we’re going to turn first exit. Yes, we’re here, girls. We’re here. Here it is. Oh, there’s bikers. There’s bikers. Do we go next to the biker friends? Yes. Shimmy shimmy shimmy shimmy drinks. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I’m just thinking about making G’s life easier in the morning. [Applause] Why don’t we just park there? There you go. Sometimes it be like that, you know. No, just had to do it all when I used to work at a dealership. So, it forces you to just do it. girls. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. We made Oh, group hug. Wow. That’s an extreme closeup for everyone’s face. I hope [Music] we made it. Made it. We did. So extreme. But this is a beautiful place. Right guys, we made it to the hotel. So, we’re going to get freshened up, settled in, get some grub, and enjoy the evening. If I end the vlog here, I’ll pop in some video footage of our evening meal so you guys can see kind of what we got up to. So, I’ll leave you with that right now. But, thank you for watching and I’ll catch you on the next one. Bye.

  1. I adore Watching You Ladies…. You are so Funny and Charming…… But I did almost choke on my Bacon Butty with some of Your Comments about the "Damp" Conditions….LOL….. Shame it was poor weather but it will always be Beautiful Scenery…….And the little Hotels do tend to be very good……. Much Love Chuck……. :-)) xxxx

  2. Your a good 15 – 20 years off being a middle aged woman 👩

Looks like you had fun in the rain ☔️

How did the tracer 7gt get on we were looking at them at the nec bike show

  3. I like the gang a lot. Especially as Georgia is with you. Brave and courageous young Lady. You are helping her a lot in a very kind way. However, would be nice to include always a short roadmap into your videos. Greetings from Cologne 🇩🇪

  4. Loving the series Kate.
Hoping to do the Pair O’ Nee’s next spring / early summer.
It’s a long ride up from home in Southern Portugal, but a good excuse to the EN2 south to north. (Portugal’s Route 66).
I’m seeing some big numbers – Please tell me your speedo is in Kilometres???

  5. You did the best thing to swerve Andorra. Trust me ..it’s a shithole. Best avoided ..massively busy string of petrol stations and that’s about it…..and personally I couldn’t wait to get out of it and back into Spain 👍

  6. Oh the discovery of new sodden crevices. Like sore muscles you didn't know you had when trying a new exercise regimen. Sorry the weather was a bummer on this day. Hopefully the "freshening up" and good meal put you all to rights, and you slept well.

  7. Great stuff! Reminds me of a trip through the Pyrenees one June several years ago heading from France to the southern coast of Spain. The plan was for the three of us (my wife, our friend and myself) to hit the twisties going through and overnight in Andorra. The rain started outside Toulouse and as we climbed higher quickly turned to snow, and heavy snow at that. We were prepared for summer in southern Spain and were camping. Heavy snowfall had not figured in our planning. Sensing pending divorce proceedings from the bike following me, we crawled into Pas de la Casa and sheltered in an empty customs area. Fortunately I managed to find a hotel with rooms, a huge drying room and an underground car park! Next day we just headed thorough the mountains as quickly as possible and soon after were in hot, sunny (and above all) dry Spain. Happy days!
