This is my unbiased and unedited video of getting my new Grizl assembled by Canyon at their Koblenz HQ. I paid an extra 150 euros, but I think it was a worthwhile experience and made sense, as I could literally pick and see how accessories looked. There was no need to order, install, and return if it didn’t make sense. I was also given a complimentary breakfast and a hot beverage free coupon to try out Canyon’s cafeteria, and the food was delicious. Shout out to Felix, who installed my bike and made it fully loaded. He agreed to let me record my whole experience. New bike day! Picking up my Canyon Grizl direct from their HQ in Koblenz. Got a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Canyon Bikes factory to see where the magic happens. Yeah. Yeah. And then I could use the the red latch to pull it out afterwards, right? Yeah. Um, what size is the tube? Uh, this is, uh, uh, 28 in. What you need is you have to look for the 45 622. Uh, this one is for 40 to 47 62. And you need a 45 62, which is uh, the size of your tire. Right here you see 45 mm and 622 mm in diameter. This is exactly between these between these two 40 and 47 in. Uh so this will fit in the Sounds good. There is mount underneath too, right? Yeah, that’s where it goes. There are a lot of mouth. So, it just clips in, right? Yeah. Or is it magnetic? No, it’s not magnetic. It’s uh mechanical. Okay. Mhm. [Music] uh very tight. And to remove uh you pull this lever. Yeah. And then the uh lower button gets loosened and then you can move the whole thing back to the back. Okay. And it is loose. Okay. [Music] Thank you. [Music] [Music] Is this aluminium? Uh, this is some metal. I think aluminium. Yeah. So, this is the rear with the clip. The Oh, wait. No, this is the rear. Maybe the longer one would be rear and the shorter one goes front. Okay. Just for the the initial installation, um you have to mount this screw right here, which is a little tricky because you need to remove the rear wheel, but uh right now you can just remove it with this snap. But here you could like if you’re at the store you could actually try things if it they don’t make sense then you could basically put that So, it’s worth to spend a little bit uh to get the bike fit on your new bike.
