Come with me on my cycle trip around the south west coast of Ireland!!!!!

Day 1 was my travel day!! It was an early start as it was a long drive from Haywards Heath to pembroke! The bike was packed up neatly in the back with no dismantling required !!!!

Once I reached Pembroke I parked the car in some randoms driveway that I rented for a week using an app. It was just a short ride from the car parking spot to the port where I boarded my ferry. A return ticket to rosslare was £90 for a bicycle which wasn’t too bad.

The ferry was around 4 hours long, so I spent most my time either sleeping on the deck or in the cabin. I think the last time I was on a ferry was for my primary school residential trip to IOW 👴🏻👴🏻

I arrived in Rosslare ravenous, so went to the closet chippy I could find and order myself a scampi and chips. I’m a huge scampi enjoyer. I think people over look the scampi !!! Hot take 🤔🤔🤔

Once finished it was a short cycle ride to my first Airbnb where I was hosted by a incredibly kind lady. I was staying in their lovely front room !! I fell asleep watching grand designs, ready for my first proper day of cycling tomorrow 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️
