Someone reached out to me asking for help identifying what kind of bike this is- I found this subreddit and figured you all might be able to help. The badge looks like it says Collegiate- which tells me it is likely a vintage schwinn collegiate, however I can’t find any example with only one top tube and the curved down tube and seat tube. I also can’t find another example of this badge. Owner believes it’s a 1930s Elgin, but I don’t understand the Collegiate badge. Can anyone help ID this?
