I’m looking at purchasing a road bike on marketplace. I’m currently riding a Triban RC100. The idea is to spend roughly $800 cad on a nice entry level road bike. Ride it for 2-3 years then upgrade to a bike at the ~$3000 price point.
Current offer on this bike is $850 cad. I should be able to get him down to about $780. The group set is shimano Tiagra. I’m going to check it out in person this weekend but the seller said it’s in amazing condition with no accidents or repairs.
If that is the case and the bike is in amazing condition is this a good deal or should I keep looking?
