I did not have a tent, but instead a tarp, a hammock, and a wool blanket I bought from an antique store. My bike was also old af and this combination made my ride very interesting in terms of repair. I took that whole, “the best touring bike is the one you already have” adage too seriously lol. Either way I completed the ride in 294 days!
Pro tip: Don’t use a bike with cantilever brakes outside of Europe 🙂
