Today we’re at a London bike show that is displaying some of the world’s fanciest bike stuff, which most of us will never own. But that doesn’t stop us wanting to look at it. Neither the brands nor the show know that we’re actually going to do this, but we are going to launch the inaugural totally unofficial K Vibes Awards. We are going to scour the place and look for category winners like blingest paint job and sickest mother cussing bike of the show. Unlike some awards, the host is not accepting bribes for any of tonight’s winners. Aka, this video is not sponsored. Over to our first category. The nominees for Cool Carbon Bike are the Colongo Y1 RS. Pagatcha wins pretty much any race that he enters on this bike. It also comes with NFC blockchain technology. One of these facts is significantly cooler than the other. The Pinerella Dogma F. We rated it highly on the cool wall and the handlebar is absolutely awesome. They’ve just told me this one’s £21,000. Ultra cyclist Leil Wilcox finished fourth woman at this year’s Unbound XL on this Diverge. Le was running 50 mil tires and they say red bikes make you go faster. This one’s even still got the mud on it. Real legit Unbound Mud. The Trek Checkout. Probably the coolest bike in Tre’s current lineup. Suspension front and back racks. Cool paint schemes, clearance for 55 mil tires or 2.2 in. It scores high on vibes. We haven’t ridden one yet, but I would love to get one of these in for a first look video. But the winner is the Reap Type 300. If 80s sci-fi films made bikes, this would be it. It has clearance for 53 mm tires, which is 2.1 in if you talk mountain bikes. They’ve got their own two-piece bar and stem that looks like a one piece bar width between 36 and 42 cm and stems from 90 to 140 mil. I wish more manufacturers were approaching integration like these guys have. I haven’t seen the geometry charts, but I am pretty certain this is an allout race bike for the most flexible of people, which unfortunately means it’s probably not for me. But that’s okay. Not every bike is. It comes with a hefty £6,000 price tag. But the cool thing is it is handmade in the United Kingdom, so it kind of feels like maybe that price is justified. Next is the Super Steel Bike Award. And there are loads of steel bikes here that they’re tickling my fancy. Notable mentions to Condor and Stalbell. And the winner is Weekender. If you love steel bikes as much as me, you will know who Ricky Feather is. Weekender is his new brand of TIG welded steel off-the-shelf geometry bikes. Ricky is still making them, so you benefit from his many years of experience. under 50 cmters get custom geometry and bars go all the way down to 34 mm. They’re even treated inside so it’s basically not going to rust. Is this maybe the perfect bike? Well, for me, yes. Some people will hate it, but it is the perfect bike. This is Ricky’s own bike. Custom painted stem, custom painted pump, custom painted fenders. It’s a bit of me that. That is a bit of me. Look at that. We’re going to give the award to the man himself. He hasn’t got a clue what’s going on. Well done, Ricky. That’s your award. Congratulations. Do you have anything to say to the to the audience? Well, yeah. Hello. A lot of people have heard of Feather, but not many people have heard of Weekender, so um we’re here just showing our our new brand. I’m not very good put on the spot, am I? Thank you, Ricky. Next up is the award for tasty titanium bike. The nominees are Jagger, a Belgium bespoke cycling manufacturer targeted at cycling connoisseurs. Their top of the range bike starts at £15,000. Yes, you heard that correct, £15,000. J Lavak, they have two new titanium models at the show. An aerobike, which kind of weirdly looks like it’s made of carbon. And they’ve just launched a titanium carbon mix, which is trickle down tech from the Rastin Martin bike. Sturdy, an all English bike brand, twoerson team, titanium only, beautiful bespoke frames. I fell in love with these bikes when I saw Dear Susan’s Star Wars inspired custom build. Ah, it’s just so good. So, so good. Just custom everything. So good. Check these out. Hey Tom Sturdy, how sturdy is a sturdy bike? Really sturdy. Thank you for that. And the winner is Two Little Ducks number 22 when fixies were cool. Number 22, one of the few bike brands out there doing titanium track bikes and they were all over Red Hook Crit. They recently launched the reactor era which unlike the J Labarak is sharp and angular and it kind of looks like a titanium version of Reap’s T300. I kind of feel like we are going to see more and more titanium aerobikes now. They have all clearly nailed the 3D printing tech bits of it. Like this is titanium. It’s wild. Also, we are seeing more of this two-piece one piece looking integration system which I am all for. You want that customization. You want to be able to switch your stem, switch your bars. So, we wanted to have a bar and stem that had no visible hardware. So, this top pops off. Your bar is mechanically fastened. Cable routing through the center, compression, and your attachment to the steer through this plug. Thank you. We’ve got ourselves a new presenter. Oh, go on mine. Oh, that’s like a prop. Jimmy, this is bigger than yours. What’s this? This is not even a real one. What the hell is that? Thank you. based on the stuff in this in this building. That is almost a bargain bike. There’s a bike behind that wall, £28,000 that it starts at. I got given a bike to review 10 years ago. Um, that was £6,000. Okay, this is when I worked cycling weekly and I felt like such an imposttor riding that bike and I was really nervous and anxious riding it because I because I thought it’s going to get stolen like someone I’m going to damage it, it’s going to get stolen. Like I felt really nervous and it’s crazy now how it’s evolved and like how this what bikes cost now. Six grand is an entry- level bike. It’s crazy, right? I’ve also just noticed they have a backup microphone, which we don’t. So, this probably no one can hear this. I I’m raring this by mistake. This was for someone else. I’ve stolen it. I don’t know. Don’t know who this is. Next is the 1% award for the blingest thing most of us will probably never own. We are back at Jay Lavak cuz there is two bikes here we want to show you. First of all, one that would be the perfect size for Francis. It’s down here. this titanium balance bike for children aged between two and four for a whopping £700. It comes with a carbon fork and apparently they also do a version with carbon wheels and a titanium handlebar. It’s definitely for the 1%. But we’re not finished there. We’ve got more bling from Java. So this is Jay Labra’s Aston Martin collaboration. Has a price tag that starts just under £30,000. All of it is handmade in the United Kingdom. I think this is maybe a good opportunity for an Aston Martin Jay Lavak montage. Roll the VT for the day. I lost the microphone. Fortunately, someone knew it was ours and returned it to me cuz I had no idea where it was. So, thank you to that person. Should have asked their name really. Thank you. Onto the awesome aluminium bike awards and it’s going to the standard behind me kind of by default because it is the only aluminium bike that we can actually find at the show. However, we have actually done a first look video on this bike and we know it’s a good one. It’s got the vibes. So, there’s our winner. Uh, we’ve actually found one more. There is a Kinesis here as well. I actually think they’re really good bikes. The next award is the ST NABA, which is the standout thing that’s not a bike, and it is a box, but it’s a significant box. This box has been sat on none other than Vela winner Yonas Swingo when he infamously won the Vela, and the podium was done in the car park with this backdrop and this box, these couple of bottles of champagne, and this wonderful picture of him sitting on it just like I am. Now, they also have his bike. I might see if they’ll let me take it home because you know what they say, red bikes make you go faster. So, we were going to do an award for the blingiest paint job and vibious stand and we’ve come to realize that they’re actually the same thing. It’s going to the Trex stand. Hands down, there is bling absolutely everywhere. Even the cows got metallic paint. Honorable mention for Blingers paint job to Riley over my left shoulder with this gold anodized titanium number. Ooh. Next is the Vibes Award for the vibiest person at the show. And this one goes to La Wilcox, one of the most badass bike riders on the planet. The fastest woman to circumn the world by bike. Hey Jimmy, where is L from? I don’t know. Alaska. Hey L, where you from? Alaska. Told you. How do you get to the point where you wake up on a morning and you want to ride around the world? Honestly, I feel like my whole cycling career led to that. So, 20 years to get to the point to ride around the world. You have done some incredible things in your cycling career, but how does it feel to win the Cade Media Vibes Award? Oh, what an honor. What’s next for you? Yeah, so I’m recovering and training and I’m going to try to beat the around the world men’s record next year. So, 78 days. So, you’re leg you are legit going for it. Yeah, I’m going for it. Next June. The Vibes Award I hope will keep you energized for it. Thanks very much. And our final award of the evening is for the sickest mother cussing bike of the show. And the winner is Graham O’ Breeze 1993 our record-winning now band bike called Old Faithful. This bike is actually owned by Canyon’s founder Roman Arnold. Roman has a musive collection of cool bikes. Apparently 300 of them. I have a lot of time for anyone which has a 300 bike collection. I’m a bit jealous of Monest. I might try and find him and see if he’ll sell me this one. You know it’s a fixy, right?

Watching , hoping for a major warm up!! WAAAAAA
I’m second 😅
Sturdy bikes are NOT STURDY at all. I've never seen a Cockpit with that much flex since the change to 31,8mm handlebars. It's ridiculous for that amount of money the charge…
Cool, another bike show, appreciate the look-see, Jimi.
Still no Collab with #TraceVelo
Thanks Jimi …and friends , Doc O looks…happy ? Beautiful bikes , be well , safe travels
Always nice to see Stelbel mentioned. Lovely guys from my hometown in Italy
Some extremely cool bikes. That balance bike is bonkers. Those Trek colourways are lush
Looks like Dr Ollie B. had a few mineral waters before he got to you.
What did Ollie have in that bottle of his? Doesn't really look like it was water 😀
That Star Wars custom bike is amazing! 🤩
The WKNDR steel bike with 34mm bars would be something to see….welcome to the fluff-up of the week. (at 3:00).
The vibe of that cracking video is off the chart.
But…
Isn't Lael Wilcox just the coolest person in the room?
And
Had Olly been on the sauce all day? 🍻
I can smell the IPA at that show from here….
Being Scottish, Obree’s bike wins hands down for me, they have the copy they made for the movie in the transport museum in Glasgow but to see the real thing, awesome. 👌
Leal is pretty cool too, another legend.?🙌🏻
More collab w GCN 😄
Why is everything is 3x more expensive if its produced in the UK ?
That 34mm steerer gotta be wild
Old Faithful, the epitome of what cycling is all about and proof that needing a ridiculously priced bicycle is, well ridiculous!
Leal is such a badass rider, even more awesome person. ❤
Ahh maaaate! You've got your hat on back-to-front through the whole thing!
My claim to fame I rode for 50 km with Lael on her day 13 around the world and made some flapjacks for her.
Great video guys, love the fun reportage vibes.
Super fancy, and expensive elite bikes and Cade Media is just there doing their own thing! Love it!
Fun video
Painful, but hey
I predict the Cade awards will be the biggest thing in the next 5 years. Loved seeing juiced up Ollie make an appearance!
The muddy bike is legit.
